We have so much good to say about Hotel La Cuadra! First and foremost, Jairo and Carmen, the owners, made us feel like family. Jairo provided us with ideas and tips to enjoy our time in Ecuador. Any question we had he provided the answer and you can trust Jairo's and Carmen's recommendations. The location is perfect! It is centrally located and easy to walk and explore all of Cotacachi. Very clean accommodations, wonderful hot water, and great water pressure! Free Wifi. Free breakfast beyond expectations! Eggs, toast, cheese, fresh tomatoes, and fresh-squeezed juice, and fresh fruit! Finally, if you need anything, Jairo will help you! Don't go anywhere else, stay at La Cuadra Hotel in Cotacachi. If you are concerned about traveling during the Covid-19 pandemic, La Cuadra takes every precaution, as do all restaurants and businesses in Ecuador - facemasks, hand sanitizer, and social distancing is practiced everywhere. I just finished a 10-day stay at La Quadra, and I can't say enough good about Jairo and Carmen,(owners)....They were fantastic hosts and made my stay very pleasant..They arranged side tours and were able to answer any questions I had the whole time I was there... The hotel is kept sparkling clean and the wi-fi worked well, and the hot water was good....I would definitely recommend it, and I will be back next year to stay again... We have stayed 10 nights at La Cuadra. Jairo, Carmen and the children are the nicest people we ever met. They were very helpful, giving advice and ideas where to go, what not to miss, arranged local tour for us. Carmen made a lovely breakfast every morning, with different delicious meal and fruit juice. The hotel is perfectly located at the centre, bus stop only a few steps, big nice room with a great view to the vulcano. We enjoyed every minute and they welcomed us like family. We hope to see them again and definitely will return.

Jairo and his family were most welcoming to our small group. The place is clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. Great location. Internet works well in cafe and hotel room. Walking distance to center of town and bus station for access to anywhere you want to go.

We stayed for 8 days. Modern clean facilities. Excellent breakfast, including great coffee from top notch espresso machine. Secure parking for car. Jairo and Carmen were most accommodating. Helpful suggestions to get most from visit. They even opened up breakfast a half hour early each day to accommodate our schedule.
