Jimmy the owner gave us an amazing welcome to Isla Santa Cruz! He was so knowledgable and accommodating and went to great lengths to help us around the Spanish language barrier. White Cove was immaculately clean and reminded us of a majestic Grecian villa. Very safe and a short and interesting walk along the waterfront into the central town past...

My friend and I enjoyed several days at the Maidith White Cove, which we found to be very clean, comfortable and convenient ... only one block from many shops, bars, restaurants and the waterfront but without the noise! Beds had excellent mattresses and linens. While we had an air conditioner, we turned it off to enjoy wonderful breezes through the...

This family-run hotel offers a delicious and substantial breakfast, support for making connections with tour operators, fluent Spanish and English speakers, and thoughtful ideas for how to best schedule your time on the island. Easy walking distance to most of Puerto Ayora and friendly, helpful, kind folks - may be the best place to stay on Santa Cruz!

The place is just adorable. The location is great, close to the main areas in town but quiet. The design feels absolutely like holiday and is unique and it is pleasantly different from the normal Hotel atmosphere. And the owners are so helpful and caring. Was a really pleasant stay.

This small family owned hotel is a real gem on Santa Cruz island in Puerto Ayora. Beautifully designed building with very original guest rooms just invites you to stay! When you come in, you are greeted by the smiling couple (English speaking) that runs the place with southern smoothness, friendliness and hospitality. The rooms are just a great size to...

Meredith White Cove is a wonderful place to stay while in Santa Cruz. The owners are very friendly and speak English. They offer suggestions for tours and restaurants to eat at. The rooms are large with A/C. The breakfast is simple, but delicious: eggs, bread with marmalade and coffee. The hotel is very cozy and the owners make every effort...

A new management team made of this place a paradise. If you are looking for a calm place, close enough from the center but far enough to escape the noise at night and morning, very very clean, with a swimming pool, large rooms and shower, a very good breakfast with eggs/ hot bread / fresh juice and always a surprise...

We stood here in November 2015. Was a family trip consisting of myself and my husband and my two children. The minute we arrived the host was not helpful at all, we asked about excursions and activities and she said they were all booked up and there was nothing for us to do. The room was not ready so we...

The lodge (Red Mangrove) uses the dive center as an overflow during peak season. You will have to walk 4 blocks to get breakfast and meals, to get your laundry, and to have internet. If there is a Diving Instruction session when you are there, you'll wake up to the sound of it....... Of interest: shower have a very special...

This was our least favorite hotel in the Galapagos. Luckily I got a very good rate on hotels.com for $50 per night with breakfast, but even then I would have stayed elsewhere. (see my other review for a much better place to stay in Puerto Ayora) The room we were initially put in had a double and a twin bed,...
