Nice simple hotel located downtown puerto ayora. Staff is nice and prices négociable. Wifi is weak generally speaking and the breakfast really simple... The other guests were nice and quiet. The hotel is decent and clean but be ready to climb stairs :)

If you have a room numbered after 9 be prepared to walk up LOTS of stairs without any assistance with luggage. I was first given room 31. After climbing approx 10 flights if stairs the aircon in the room was so unbelievable noisy I had to ask to be moved. I was moved to room 9 which was marginally better....

Excellent staff, location, and price. The room was clean and the shower worked fine (always a possible iffy feature in a low cost hotel). Free breakfasts were enough to keep us going until lunch. Although we didn't take advantage of this service, I think it would be a good place to arrange tours.

Great location being only 2 blocks back from the main esplanade and restaurant street. After complications with our ferry to san Cristobal of an afternoon, we had to change our plans and stay over night at hotel espana again. Walking in on late that afternoon, the male receptionist was super friendly and organised a room for us. Forgetting that we...

For $40 a night for two people in a private room with bathroom this is a bargain. Rooms are very clean, spacious with two beds and fresh towels and soaps are provided. Bathrooms are clean, huge and hot (good pressure) water is also available. Air conditioning is installed. Location is ideal only two blocks down from the water (about 5...

We were a little worried about staying here, because of some of the reviews. But we liked our stay, the rooms were nice, a fine bathroom with hot water. A lovely common area with hammocks and tv, wifi was good, but only in common area. The price was 50$ for a double one night. It is a good price for...

This was fine for our one night stay. We reserved the rooms at $61 per night which was collected as soon as we checked in. The stairways are narrow and curved so it will be a challenge bringing up large pieces of luggage. The seating area downstairs was comfortable, there's a hammock, restrooms, a small restaurant open during breakfast hours,...

I have slept in this "Hotel" for 1 night, fortunately, with my wife and I must say it was the worst night out of our 2 week trip on Galapagos. FIrst we had to change room because there was no hot water in the first they gave us, the second one was not really clean, found a hair on the...
