I stayed here for three nights in May and had a room on the lower floor with windows facing the backyard. It was nothing fancy but good enough. Clean, decent sized room. The bed was ok and clean. I didn't want an air-conditioned room, but my room had a fan on the ceiling; That was good enough to keep a...

My husband and I arrived at Puerto Ayora without a hotel booking, but it wasn't difficult to find one. The lady at Sir Francis Drake hotel was outside the building promoting it! We paid $30 per night for a fan room, with ensuite shower, tv and including wifi too. Unlimited drinking water was available all the time from the reception...

It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's actually pretty good. It's in a great location, the rooms are clean, and they clean them every day. The bathrooms are good and the showers fine. The beds are comfortable as are the pillows. Really can't complain about this place, especially for the price ($15/person but you can negotiate down)....

My husband and I chose to stay here after seeing their sign for air conditioning. We were not expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised. We paid 50$ a night for a room with air conditioning and fans. The room was spacious, there were two twin beds (we just pushed them together), the bathroom was clean. The sheets and blankets...

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) stayed here for $40 a night. We had TV, AC, clean rooms, towels, etc. the beds were horrible but for the price you pay I guess you have to have a negative thing to say. The owner is nice and the boy that's around to help is very friendly. The wifi...

I stayed at this place for a few days taking day trips to islands nearby. The rooms are big, airy, clean and the beds are comfy and the showers nice and warm. The garden is quiet and fresh, great to take a break, there is purified drinking water always available at the entrance. It's family run and the staff is...

Myself and partner stayed in room 15 at the back of the hotel. The room was pretty good, very clean and spacious for two of us and two big windows making it light and airy. No noise except the occasional dog barking. The hot shower worked well and they cleaned the room every day. The only thing which was very...

Thankfully only stayed for 1 night in Aug'14. Wished I had red reviews beforehand... The hotel is located directly on the main traffic road. Windows only have a fly-net but not any glass and the front of the hotel is open-plan, so basically it's incredibly noisy and you can hear the cars running by day&night. My room had two single...

Very clean hotel. Prices in rooms were based on the number of people occupying it so for two the price is US$25 PER PERSON (you might be able to haggle down to 20 per person if you stay enough nights). We got clean towels including a bath mat and hand towel every day and the room was cleaned and bed...

We had originally booked at another hotel nearby in Puerto Ayora which was too small and very broken down. For less money we found Sir Francis Drake Hotel. Great location, close to the authentic food stalls and right by the docks for tours. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Clean, comfortable rooms. The best deal in this area. Be...
