At or near full-rate, the value would not be here, but we got a good last minute rate and enjoyed our stay very much. Our next-door neighbors were 7 hobo sealions, and the tide literally washed up in mangrove roots outside our window. With the awesome restaurant patio and mangrove architecture, along with management's clear full embrace of flora and...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review! Our hotel is one of most unique places you'll find on Santa Cruz to stay overnight. We are very glad you were able to enjoy the mangroves, oceanfront, and the occassional sea lions guests! Were you able to visit any of the local attractions during your time like the Charles Darwin Station or...

We went to the Red Mangrove several times during our stay in Puerto Ayora, because it is an amazing place for wildlife viewing whilst having happy hour cocktails in the late afternoon. We saw sea lions, iguanas, pelicans hunting, boobies, herons, and much more.

Dear Adam, Thank you so much for coming to visit us so often during your time in the Galapagos. We appreciate your review. There is so much to see right from our deck since it sits right on the bay. Galapagos wildlife never disappoints! Thanks again! Red Mangrove by Haugan Cruises

We did the 8 day experience and had a nice experience. The food at the lodge's restaurant was great. Fernando the manager went out of his way to work with us and our schedule and needs and we were very thankful for that. Definitely the best place to stay on the island.

Our family of 4 got a quad room that was super nice. We loved the animals we saw daily when we ate. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed staying at the Lodge.

This is one of the better looking hotels in the area when browsing for alternatives, with some frequent guest that don't mind going to the bathroom anywhere in the boardwalk and it might not be cleaned for a while. The hotel is nested in between mangroves so you will have to deal with the smell in some parts of the...

A friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst in the Galapagos. It is a fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. Our ground floor twin room faced the hotel deck and sea and sea lions, pelicans and iguanas were there all the time. The room and bathroom could not be faulted and the food was excellent.

Not maintained very well, found multiple roaches in the bathroom , a/c didn't work , front desk and restaurant staff not friendly or helpful at all. Very sad to have paid so much for such bad service. Pictures must have been taken when hotel opened years ago No pool

Right on the waterfront. With sea lions, iguana and many birds right there on the patio. Tasty but rather expensive restaurant but plenty of other options close by. Handy for shopping and water taxis to all tour options

The hotel is in Puerto Ayora on the Island of Santa Cruz which is central and very convenient when traveling in the Galapagos Islands.
