The owner Was so Kind, we forgot our bag in the taxi/pickup and told owner of the hotel, she Just made some calls to find the taxi driver and in minutes our bag was right back, we didn't even knew the drivers name, the next day we almost lost our ship that salied from the port cuz there were no taxis in the area, and she was so kind to get us to the port in his car for free, she even woke up earlier to give us early breakfast

English review first (Spanish down below, after 5 paragraphs): If you are searching for hotels in COVID-19 times, look no further, because this is the hotel! Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in, this was the best one where the personal was very conscious about following the biosecurity measures correctly (masks, social distancing, open spaces with plenty of fresh air, etc). My review took longer than I expected (one month later) because I was waiting to confirm that all the guests survived unscathed: a 67 y.o. senior, a 64 y.o. old madam and a 27 y.o. young man (me!). All safe and sound after a 10 day trip. Even though I should state that your security depends on you while visiting the beautiful places Galapagos has to offer. Furthermore, the hotel is environmentally conscious given that it heats the water with solar panels. Additionally, the owner is a biologist, so the rights and freedoms of animals are respected and helped in case of trouble, like for example when a black bumblebee (Galapagos endemic specie) was hitting multiple times with a window it used as a daily path, she climbed over a chair and proceeded to gently open it for the bumblebee to continue. The beds are very comfortable and don't get messy if you are careful when waking up, and you can even split them to ensure proper social distancing. The hotel is very well decorated and with nice common areas, apart from all the noise of nightlife, but pretty near to get to it by walking for 5 minutes. Perfect for relaxing, although if you want an even more relaxing experience, I recommend going to Isabela island (I call it: Paradise). Due to the pandemic, there haven't been enough guests lately, as a consequence the hot water bomb wasn't working, we reported it to the owner in the morning, who fixed it promptly, and it was working perfectly by the night. Lastly, if you are looking for adventures, the hotel has plenty of it. One day there was the bumblebee I already mentioned, another day the light went off at midnight which you can use to recall the Galapagos of 30 years earlier or go to sleep early to continue exploring the next day (Not hotel fault, mostly Galapagos energy saving politics, shutting the light in sectors, maybe), y sometimes if you got lucky, you are going to be witness of the sighting of one of the sweetest girls you have ever seen, she may start talking with you… and now you are in trouble because she wont stop! and she is only 3 years old! I hope to get back someday, hungry for adventures I can share with all the people I met there.

Very nice hotel in walking distance from main street, only 5 minutes. Clean and quiet rooms. Drinking water dispenser in the room. We were warm welcomed by the Owner Rachel and her friendly team. She also offered us a ride on her car to town. We recommend this hotel for all travelers.

This level of service is above and beyond my personal expectations. Rachel the owner of the hotel greets us in person and adds a personal touch to our amazing experience. The entire building is designed to be environmentally friendly and as if this is not enough she offers us a ride on her electric vehicle to the famous island walkway. I wish you all the best in your sustainability path my dear Rachel!
