Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort is celebrated for its pristine beach and diverse amenities, with guests frequently applauding the immaculate facilities and the welcoming, professional staff who strive to provide memorable experiences. The resort's prime beachfront location, close to various attractions, enhances its appeal, though opinions on the surroundings can vary. While the atmosphere is generally considered cozy with scenic views, a few find it somewhat outdated. Rooms are well-received for their cleanliness, spaciousness, and stunning sea vistas. Value is recognized in the hotel's offerings, despite occasional concerns over unexpected costs.

We as a family we very impressed with this hotel and in particular the staff. Great location on the sea front, all the rooms have sea views with on site activities such as wind surfing, scuba diving, boat trips etc. A short taxi ride into main city centre but away from noise and traffic. Family friendly very safe with good security. Staff at hotel went the extra mile to make sure you feel looked after. Fantastic customer experience from check in team led by Mr Shaddy to the team at the Sunset bar led by Mr Iessa. Even the room cleaners such as Gamel will try his best to make sure you are content. All in all a highly recommended hotel. Good quality food choice at eateries. If I could improve anything we visited in Feb and the sea temp was too cold for comfortable long swims as was the outdoor heated pool. Able to book lots of activities and tours enjoyed trips to Luxor and to the beautiful Red sea islands.

Although this is not a new resort, the care and maintenance of the facility and rooms made this resort feel fresh and comfortable. We were upgraded to a suite that had a front row seat through the large windows to incredible sunrises and sunsets besides overlooking the bridge to the extended island while looking out at the Red Sea. The room offered more features than expected with a lavish bath tub and comfortable seating areas. Room servicing and dining services were excellent. The breakfast buffet offered so many choices for everyone's taste and the food at the Sunset Lounge filled with great selections and flavors. The beach and pool had plenty of relaxing lounge areas and bars to offer plenty of drinks.

Our favorite bar was the Sunset Lounge because of their nightly entertainment shows and the bar staff. They were wonderful to socialize with and made every night enjoyable. The entire staff of the resort kept checking in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and were helpful to our requests and questions about the area and activities. From their reception, bell service, restaurant service, drink service, house keeping, to the customer service representatives, we were treated wonderfully and provided exceptional service. We felt very safe from the minute we pulled up to the access limited entrance to the hotel and went through the screening area inside the lobby. Security was visible throughout the hotel to ensure our safety as two women travelers and we felt relaxed walking about the resort as well as nearby, outside the hotel. Even though the water was chilly, snorkeling was fun in front of the beach and around their small island with enough marine life to keep us entertained.

I would highly recommend this resort for travelers that are looking for excellent customer service for a very reasonable price at a resort that will pamper you and provide you with more options and activities to fulfill a memorable trip to the Red Sea. The staff that made our trip incredible are too numerous to name but I have written a personal letter to their management to acknowledge them for their contributions that made this a trip of a lifetime worth returning for. Even though I have stayed at so many Marriott hotels, this will be one of my top choices.

We visited this hotel as part of a package tour, but became very disenchanted with our chosen tour agency, and so decided to plan our activities in Hurghada ourselves.

My husband is a Marriott BonVoy Gold Elite member, and from check in until check out, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and willing to remedy any issues we had. I do believe that if we had not been present at the check in counter (ie allowed the tour leader to complete our check in) we would have had a much worse room and worse experience.

We owe much thanks to Ami, the manager on shift during our check in. Recognizing our familiarity with the Marriott brand, she went above and beyond to accommodate us with room upgrades when we had issues with the initial room offered.

The 4pm sunset lounge offerings for Elite members was yet another value add to our stay — the offerings of pizza, French fries, wraps, and desserts were just what we needed after a day of touring, sunbathing, and snorkeling!

My only advice for improvement is with the in-room amenities offered — I would have expected cotton swabs, shoe wipes, etc at a hotel of this caliber, and instead ended up with 6 bottles of shampoo every day! This is obviously a small thing in the grand scheme.

In all, kudos to the staff of this beautiful resort. Their warm smiles and welcoming demeanour was a much appreciated shift from the hustle and bustle of Cairo!

The hotel is pleasant, the staff are helpful, eager to offer assistance and attentive. The hotel offers good (above market average) hygiene standards, the check in and out experience was smooth, flexible and appealing. The food could benefit from a facelift though to be at par with the rest of the chain's standards of selection, quality and attractiveness. The food is clean though and was far too basic, more of a quality Egyptian 3 or 4 star hotel, in my humble opinion.
The hotel was pleasant enough to extend the checkout time and was smooth and flexible to accommodate a request which I am grateful for, all within permissible parameters.
The clientele at my time were a bit noisy and a bit of the "gazing" type, however that was managed easily with the early breakfast and dinner and the extensive beach bed locations (to the left side of the walking bridge and on the "island").
The gym was good for a hotel and there were 2 tennis courts offered for a very small fee (free within the all inclusive).
It was a relaxing experience I'd say overall and I wasn't bothered to leave the hotel during my stay.

Stayed here after having come back from a one-week boat trip which finished at the pier just outside the hotel. Hotel itself is ok, Rooms are fairly average for a hotel of this type. Nothing good or bad about the basics. People are generally friendly and helpful.
However, it's the other services where the hotel lets itself down: trying to get a windsurf board at the beach is virtually impossible ("come back tomorrow" when there are at least 20 boards available), and avoid the beauty shop. My partner had her fingernails done which were virtually non-existent after treatment.
So, if you are content to sit at the pool and are satisfied with basic service standards, unexciting food (yes, I did go to the a la carte restaurant) at a reasonable price, then this place is for you. If you want more, go elsewhere.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights, arriving at HRG Airport from Sharm El Sheikh at 11AM and taxiing 7 km east to this newer 283 room hotel. Having checked in online, reception took less then 10 minutes to copy passports, pay with credit card and get our key cards. We took one of the 2 elevators up to our 4th floor seaview #433. The spacious tiled room had a comfortable king bed, nook with hot pot(tea & coffee) and fridge, large TV(many channels in numerous languages with excellent reception, and in English-Al Jazeera, BBC’s, Bloomberg, CNN and 3 with movies), easychair and a balcony with table and 2 chairs. The large bathroom had 2 sinks, a vanity table, and a bathtub/shower with quick hot water. Room WIFI was strong and secure as was the heat/AC(not needed at the end of March).
The 6:30 AM breakfast buffet was excellent and complete with attentive chefs at the egg/crepe station, then self-serve cereals, salads, oatmeal, beans, cold meats/cheese, many breads/pastries, fresh juices & 2 coffee machines. We used the pool restaurant each day with its extensive lunch menu and attentive staff.
The lobby had 2 ATM’s for local money(1 $=18.5 E. pounds). We spent the late morning on the seaside beach near their private island and the afternoon around the large center pool using towels provided at the activity center.
All hotel personnel including waiters, security and grounds workers were cheerful and accommodating. There are several small souvenir and snack shops off the lobby and across the street two small grocery stores with oranges, fruit juice, cookies, nuts & chips.
A long pier to the side and a 1 km promenade up to the old Sheraton pier offers access to numerous dive boats with daily/weekly services. This is a relaxed refined hotel in top condition with an international clientele providing a quiet environment while offering games, water aerobics and massages making this an excellent stay in the Hurghada area.

once you enter the magnificent lobby you are greeted by the warm and conforting smile of Sharawi, the front desk manager, in charge of making all your dreams come true.

Once all formalities were completed at the office, we were taken up to the bresthtaking view they call our room.

The spectacular view of the island and reefs, the huge veranda we were able to enjoy showed us that this would be a very comfortable stay.

Eslam the cleaning man was quick to offer us more water and has made sure not only that our room was spotless every day, but also surprised us with something new on the bed every single day while still remembering and honouring our preferences. Eslam is truly a master of his trade.

The hotel and all of its amenities were wonderful, the pool was nice and clean, its water warm but that cound not draw us away from the magnificence of the Red sea.

The biggest treasure that Marriott beach resort has to offer has to undoubtely be the two-man duo who has fed us and made us lifelong fans of the egyptian kitchen.

Abdullah the waiter at the buffet restorant was there every morning and every evening to make our dining experience magnificent. Abdullah not only remembered our drink prefference but also memorized all the little detailes and requests and always politely asked us regarding any further requirements which we may have. A perfect balance and amazing service you will struggle to find in even the most renowned restaurants.

The short intermezzo between meals was filled by another caring waitor, this time in the sunset lounge , Mohamed 'Jemmy' who made our 4oclock snack special.

The real magician of this hotel however is Hamdy, the pastry chef. There is nothing which can compare to Hamdy's sweets. Hamdy has prepared for us the egyptian Zelabya, simply the finest sweet that our mout has had the pleasure to enjoy, and made to perfection by Hamdy's skillful hands. Besides this, we were able to ebjoy Konafa, Om' Ali and other sweets which Hamdy has also makes so beutiful that our mouths are watering even thinking about them now.

Few trips can quite compare to this one and we will surely remember our stay at this beautiful hotel in no small part due to the amazing staff.

We can't wait to come back!

We stayed 2 weeks in December in Marriott Hurghada. That was a perfect choice for a winter vacation. The hotel has got a heated outdoor pool and their private beach is very good protected from the winter winds, so that you can enjoy swimming in the sea or in the pool every day. The hotel itself is well maintained and in a very good condition, almost perfect. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The personnel was constantly doing their best to satisfy every single wish of a guest. Especially the housekeeping department (room making) and the food and beverage department (restaurants and bars) are striving for perfection. The food and drinks are of good quality and very tasty. All staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Marriott Hurghada.

This was a friendly place with nice rooms. We had a Red Sea view and were not on the all-inclusive plan, and we had a very enjoyable stay. There was no lounge for platinum members, but the Sunset Lounge hosted snacks and drinks every day at 4, which was a nice substitute.

The beach is really more of a marina, and the water was very calm. We took a daylong snorkeling trip right from the hotel marina, which was super convenient, a lot of fun, and reasonably priced. Our room steward did a great job, and lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. Hassan gave us great service from the beach restaurant.

There’s not a lot to walk to near the hotel, but we used Uber (super cheap—about $2 for most trips) and the hotel taxi service (more expensive—about $10 for most trips), and both got us around quickly.
