This review is way overdue, but hopefully will be helpful. This was our second visit to the Makadi Palace and once again, it did not disappoint. Transfers were prompt and efficient, as was our check in upon arrival. Very friendly happy staff, who provided us with a cool beer, perfect after a long day of travelling. Our suite was very...

Overall a lovely place and really good price, lots of shops and things on the resort. The main feature is defo its private beach and the red sea is amazing! The food is not the best ive had in a all inclusive but isnt the worst. Evening entertainment and waiters never leave you without a drink.

Let me begin by saying I am not the sort who complains, I've travelled across the world and never felt the need to moan and groan about a hotel. However our experience at the Makadi Palace was a let down. First impressions of the Makadi Palace is an amazing sight. Its a huge, plush looking and well design hotel. Rooms...

Booked a last minute trip for our family and had never been to Egypt before. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Yes, the rooms were a little tired and the shower power wasn't great, but they were very spacious suites. We tried some of the specialty restaurants and was disappointed that our cannelloni in...

Our stay was 16-30 Dec. We stayed in room 3303 above the melange. Checking in was ok.. we wondered why the bell boy on leaving our room said I'll be back in 2 minutes to take you to your late meal.. We thought we had our bearings to get back to our room after the meal not realising the restaurant...

We booked this hotel through RED SEA HOLIDAYS as part of our cruise and stay holiday. The rooms are very 'tired'. The shower head was broken and fell off on the first day, the sink blocked up and it took 2 days and 3 visits to reception before someone came to fix it. The Dome restaurant (or as we named...

This resort was very quiet during our stay although extremely large. The room was satisfactory with a large shower and hot water also very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful main dining buffet dome was too noisy for us with sound echoing although a large variety of food. Outside dining areas were more to our liking and very...

We have just returned from an one-week all inclusive trip to the Makadi Palace. Absolute high-light: the friendliness and professionalism of the the staff. Outstanding. We also very much appreciated the variety of food and its availability. The junior suites were big enough for two adults and two little kids - interior was basic and could benefit from a make-up....

Hotel was fine but basic. Few small niggles, but must stress that value was good. Staff were superb. Most if the food choices were ok. Probably wouldn't re visit, but never say never. Certainly worth the visit if budget is a bit restricted but want some winter sun.
