The rooms were spacious and clean, nice view but the food was average. The staff were friendly, their room service hamburger was really good, even better than their open buffet. There was no coffee break in the rooms, we had to ask for TV remote batteries, had to have someone open the locked Safebox. The mobile networks were always down...

My wife and I booked this hotel at the last moment and overall it was a good experience. We stayed for two weeks, returning to the UK on the 23rd November. We both wanted a hotel far from the hustle and bustle of Sharm just to chill out after a hectic house move and for this alone the Sol Taba...

What a silly system...even my tour guide was upset with this "stupid system" 😂 The food was just better at the presentation than the taste. The bed was VERY small...and the blanket wass too 😢 Bur the location is very good...only 20 minutes to Taba Border, the beach is just behind of the hotel, the mountain view infront the lobby...

Just for your information, the Sol Taba used to be called Sonesta Beach Resort. I have been to this hotel over 40 times!! The hotel has been taken over by the Melia Group. I must say I am very impressed with them. The hotel was looking rather tired, the Melia Group have been like a breath of fresh air. They...
