Hi. This resort was recommended to me by a friend. She loved it- she snorkeled. We loved it too! We are scuba divers- the best we've ever experienced and we have traveled the world. Bikes are provided at the resort. The food was fantastic and we are picky. The lamb was to die for along with the fish tacos, chicken...

It has taken me some time to write this review as we stayed for Easter 2011, however nearly a year later I have been spurred on by reading the negative reviews that were left and feeling that I would not do my bit by stating how excellent I found Nakia Resort. Apologies for any names or details I have forgotten...

Our holiday vacation with Nakia was absolutely perfect! The bures are tastefully furnished and immaculately clean with fresh flowers every day to make you feel right at home. All are nestled on beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking the Somosomo Strait. It is equally mesmerizing in early morning hours as it is for sunset or just laying lazily in the hammock after...

After over 20 years of diving my husband and I firmly agree that Julie and her team at Nakia are the BEST dive operation we have ever dove with. Hands down!!!!! Julie's knowledge about the Rainbow Reef, the life of the Pacific and and diving in general make her a true gem. She has also surrounded herself with great instructors,...

This is definitely the place to stay if you are visiting Taveuni Island and want to be totally spoilt. If you like a large and impersonal resort then maybe Nakia won't be for you, but for everyone else.... With beautiful grounds and gardens, friendly and helpful staff, amazing views, and excellent accomodation, this place really is the whole package. We...

We spent a week at Nakia, and loved it. Robin and Jim, and the staff are great. The only problem with the food was that there was too much. Great quality, and good variety. The pool is terrific, the sunsets were wonderful. I went snorkeling, and that was great. I would stay here again.

It is such pleasure to write a note and share a bit about our exquisite vacation at Nakia Eco-Resort. From the moment we were met at the airport, followed by our greeting at Nakia of cool Oshibori towels and fresh squeezed Kumquat juice, we were pampered and delighted every single day. The owners, Jim, Robin, and Julie authentically care that...

Robin and Jim and Julie and staff treat you like family! We had a wonderful time and the diving was fabulous! When the weather turned bad, their hospitality never ceased. We would highly recommend this resort - especially the sunset bure. Louise from Boston.

We loved the Nakia Eco-Resort. We were picked up at the airport upon arrival in Taveuni. The accommodations were great, the landscaping was amazing and the views were incredible. The owners, Jim and Robin with their daughter Julie, who runs Taveuni Water Sports, and the staff, were the nicest people we have ever encountered in our extensive travels. This was...
