Title: A unique alternative eco-friendly resort in Paradise I’m a solo traveler looking always for “different” places beside the ways of main tourism. SigaSiga Sands Resort was recommend to me by a good friend, and it fulfilled my requirements for a boutique and unique place completely! I’ve seen some people here complaining about “it’s basic”, but it isn’t. It has...

We've just returned from two absolutely wonderful weeks staying in the Plantation Villa at SigaSiga Sands, a perfect location for our family of 4 with two teenagers. If you're looking for one of those sterile, cocooned resort vacations which keeps you completely isolated from the local community, this isn't the place for you. If, however, you're wanting to see authentic...

We had a very enjoyable 8 days in the Plantation Villa in September (family with two older teenage boys). Our main purpose was to snorkel and the reef was good and extremely handy. When not snorkelling, we entertained ourselves by low tide reef walks, books from the bookshelf, DVDs from the collection, cooking and eating with the garden's produce (bananas,...

I wouldn't call this place a resort since there is only a villa and a couple of bures but it is truly stunning and the staff there are amazing. We stayed in the small bure behind the villa where we were well looked after by the Shaba, we also ordered excellent indian food which he brought to our as well...

We traveled with another couple and spent 9 days at Sigasiga in late August. The house is very clean and well equipped. The grounds are spacious and fit a simple style apart from the feel of the big resorts. You will have your privacy here. The couple who are employed as caretakers, Subash and Sunita were very welcoming and helpful...

A long overdue review.. We spent our belated honeymoon, 10 days, at SigaSiga and got to experience both the Coco bure and the Plantation villa. Different styles of accommodation but both equally great. We actually felt a bit guilty staying in the big villa when our kids were not with us, they would have loved it! We did a lot...

but very little can make up for a holiday that begins with 24 hours spent in the local hospital for one of us and ends with the other returning home with Dengue Fever. Hopefully others staying will have a better experiance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Sigasiga Sands. The grounds are beautiful and the potential for growth for the resort is great. We stayed in the Coco Bure and found it clean and comfortable. It made us think of beach holidays in beach batches at home in NZ. If you expect 5 star accommodation you may be disappointed but we...

We had the most wonderful time at Sigasiga Sands in the Coco Bure. It was clean and well maintained with all the basic amenities one required. The kitchen was more than adequately furnished although we only cooked breakfast since Savusavu had some amazing restaurants to try and the food made by Sunita (the cook on the property) was amazing. Gene...

We had high hopes. But, its a too-small cabin (Coco bure) that was very buggy, inside and out. No room to move. Kitchen is DETACHED, means you walk thru two doors and down stairs... Bure is quite far from beach, about 150 meters, and the beach is truly a tidal flat, not really a swimming place. If you prefer isolation,...

“Obviously, many people love this place. We did not. Owner gave all attention to other guests-- two ladies in the 'villa'--, and did not, nor would not care how we felt. The coco bure is basically a very small plantation cabin, too-stuffed with needless furniture, and we couldn't move at all. Not represented well, for the price.”
