We have just returned from a week at this hotel and as the title of this says "its ok", a quick check in at reception and quickly shown to our room. The room was very basic but wasn't expecting anything different really, it was cleaned everyday and the towels changed daily, it could really have done with a good makeover...

Our 1st time in Gambia and we absolutely loved it, the djeliba a is a wonderful base to stay 5 mins to the beach through sister hotel djembe and 10 mins walk or 100 dalasi in a taxi to the Senegambia strip. Hotel is immaculately clean and the staff are genuinely very hospitable and friendly. Poco loco is 2 mins...

Back to the Djeliba for our second time, we received a great welcome which made us feel good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again. Can't fault the hotel. The room was cleaned and towels replaced every day. We upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the road as we like to watch the people strolling up and down the...

We found the standard of hotel to be very reasonable. We stayed in the deluxe room with a balcony that are situated in the main building. Very quiet, apart from inconsiderate guests slamming their doors shut. There is no scoreboard with how many guests you can wake up with one door slam, you know! Breakfast was the same every morning,...

Plenty beds and different areas to choose from. Bar available for all kinds of drinks. Hammam/massage centre beside the pool where I had a 20mins massage -...

The staff here are amazing, all helpful especially Delfina and Musa who helped us on various occasions. Breakfast nice with scrambled eggs, omelettes, beans, sausages, a boiled egg...

We had a fab week at Djeliba. The staff are brilliant, friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great holiday. Amie, the pool bartender was very smiley and welcoming. Prior to arriving I sent a message on Facebook to the hotel explaining we were coming for my partners 30th birthday, we had already booked...
