We stayed at Coco Bay for our recent Mission Trip. We were told that it was under new management and things have changed. They are trying. The rooms decor has been stepped up quite a bit since our last visit. They were very comfortable. The water supply still seems to be a problem, especially for hot water. They use the... More

We spent one night at Coco Bay - we turned up at the last minute as we were heading for the Guatamala border and weren't going to make it in time. To call this a "resort" is a misnomer because the only amnemety is a pool. The beach is about a block away and if you go on foot you will be attacked by mosquitos as you walk through the empty lot between the hotel and the beach.
