It has such serenity, so peaceful and the best time of your life you can have here. A must visit and stay for anyone visiting spiti or manali. the best. Road opens after june and you can visit till oct for pleasant stay and weather.

We did in 1day, but i suggest you to stay a night in Camp, 2kms before chandratal lake. we left from manali at 4am reached chandratal at 11:30pm. Stayed for only 2 hours and left at 1:30pm reached manali by 10pm. Very Hectic Trip which has no roads at all and 200 small waterfalls on way towards Batal. there are... More

The chandratal lake is a beautiful lake nestled below kunzum pass or 13 km before batal.Road is worse and narrow towards chandratal lake.The 02 km road from the camp site towards the lake is the worst and on a rainy day please avoid it and hatchbacks too.Please take a full circle around the lake in clockwise direction (religious views) and... First the road to chandrataal is so narrow that everyone pray that nothing should come across. Then the beauty to this place is awesome never too forget feeling and different sort of experience. We reached manali morning 7am. Enquired for buses to Bataal, from where the trek to chandrataal starts. The bus service was unavailable. Taxi was charging Rs 15000. So finally after roaming around found a Shared Taxi, that charged 1000 Rs per person. You can trek to chandrataal from Bataal (14 km)as well as kunzum La (9km ). We had our... More

this is maintained by hp government that is only open for the 6 months every year as when snow starts the rothang pass will be closed and so tourist cant acess beyond the pass.the place around is so lovly that one can spent here with nature in the evening by taking a walk.there a a lot of buddist tempoles around.day... Bad response from managemnt food was low quality services were very bad rooms were uncleand . We were there for 3 nghts bt nt happy wth thm . Being bookd by the travel agency we had to go out for dinnr n brkfst. Nevr go to this hotel evr

This was one of the worst experience we had during our stay in manali.We were 5 family members and we booked two deluxe rooms and what we got was 1 family room .It was still fine. But then the nightmare begun.Rooms did not had water supply,no electricity .Our complaints fell on deaf ears.Even food was not good first day..second day... More

Hotel chandertaaal is the best place to stay at manali. we stayed there for 4 days and feel homely. They have the best hospitality and all staff is very cooprative.The tents were decent and had basic accomodation.

Chandratal lake is one of the best places in Spiti region. Its a must visit place and feels like you are in heaven.... The lake displays all varieties of blue you could ever imagine. The tents were decent and had basic accomodation. The staff was co-operative and made jain food also... But its located little bit far from the Chandratal... More
