This place is very close to bangalore so firstly travel is not a problem if you are living here. The camp is small but neatly maintained and has a bunch of tents and cottages as well as fun things to keep busy like swings, indoor games and hammocks. The staff is very friendly and smiling and the food is decent....

This was my second visit. There was lot of difference in the ambiance of rooms and the facilities provided. Felt like being at home with the good service. This being in Bangalore saves lot of travel time. Good retreat for the recreation as lot of open space was available to run around and play. Children in the family loved the...

Positives: 1. The safari was better than expected. Could go on a jeep whereas others went on a bus with lot of people in it. 2. The swiss tent was comfortable, neat and spacious. The bathroom had a water heater. They provide us with umbrellas. 3. The food was home-like. Good choices to choose from. It is a little on...

The place is difficult to reach, access road is not that great. Google maps misdirected us. Proper signage should be there near the Bannerghatta police station turn. But once you take the right turn, you are guided properly along the road through signboards at regular intervals. The tent cottage we stayed was great. Food was reasonably good, people courteous, service...

I felt it is really good and had a pleasant stay. Food is awesome and staff are very friendly. Will like to revisit . There are no outdoor games and very less indoor games for adults and kids. It will be good if they can arrange those to think people for stay there for more days.

I stayed in this place for a day. Beautiful environs and very warm support staff. Weekend trips are ideal as on weekdays you might feel a bit lonely with not many fellow visitors around. Highly recommend it.

Peaceful and calm environment. Excellent accommodation. Helpful support team. Good simple food. Exciting jungle safari. Will like to visit again. Some of the things that could be improved was the indoor game facility. Whilst there was a TT table, it was not fixed properly. There were badminton rackets but without any shuttle. Morning nature walk could be made more engaging...

We went for a day trip which included safari, visit to butterfly park and the zoo. Every activity was well coordinated and every member was really helpful. Food served was average and it would be great if they review the menu. Otherwise it was a decent trip and we'll love to go back and stay there.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bannerghatta Nature Camp is a surprise. Just on the outskirts of a bustling city like Bangalore with its flyovers and late nights and chaotic traffic lies 25,000 acres of carefully preserved jungle. For children and the child in you, it's an amazing storybook destination brought to life. Bannerghatta has been used as a rehabilitation facility for tigers and lions rescued from circuses. The biggest of its kind, this facility has opened opportunities for India's first Lion and Tiger Safari. With enclosures that recreate their natural habitat, seeing a giant cat up close, with just the safety of the jeep separating you and the beast, resonates to a very deep part of you. ... more   less
