This was our second visit to this delightful homestay. Solaman is an amazing yoga teacher and real progress was made over the 13 lessons we had during the week on the roof terrace. We are not 'spring chickens' and at 65 and 70, realised that the body is not quite as mobile as it used to be but the warm conditions...

This is great place for those wanting to practce yoga in India. Solaman your host and very experienced yoga teacher gets the most from his students experienced or inexperienced. The setting, on the roof top of his home, enhances the experience. But that's not all you get! Priya cooks amazing meals, the rooms are comfortable and it's lovely to relax...

I stayed with Solaman and his lovely family back in March/April this year after being recommended by a friend and had a wonderful experience. Although I primarily went for the yoga, the homestay offers an immersive experience of rural Keralan life and you would not be able to see many of these sights staying in a hotel. The yoga is...

I have just spent 6 wonderful days with the very welcoming Solaman and Priya at the Yogalife homestay. I highly recommend this homestay; not only is it in a stunning verdant location, but the hospitality is second to none. Priya is an expert cook and prepared different regional dishes for every single meal of my stay, which were delicious, healthy...

Eight of us spent five days with Solaman and his family at Yogalife Homestay. We did yoga in the morning and the evening and spent the days being shown around by Solaman. He is as wonderful of a tour guide as he is yoga instructor. His wife did the cooking, which was a wonderful introduction to the local food, and...

Such a pleasure to be taught by a YogaMaster like Solaman on his rooftop studio. His lovely wife Priya is a wizard at cooking the most delicious meals. Not only did Solaman teach us yoga but also acted as a tour guide, taking us on a river hike where we watched elephants being bathed and also a hike high up...

Some time back I had to opportunity to visit Yogalife and have Solaman Joseph as my yoga teacher, and found this rural retreat to be peaceful and serene. Priya cooks fabulous Indian food, and it was well worth the small detour out of Kochi to have the experience. Simple enough with all comforts needed. Highly recommend it!

We have been going to Solaman Prya’s retreat called Yogalife for 4 years now and have always been impressed by the quality of the hospitality and excellent food cooked by Prya. Solaman always provides excellent yoga sessions twice a day, and is always available and kind to his guests. Thus we discovered the authentic life of the region. Every year...

We spent just over 3 weeks with Solaman and his family in March 2016 Yoga twice a day led by Solaman, a patient teacher Food cooked by his wife, Priya, showed just how good well sourced and cooked vegetarian food can be. As life long meat eaters we could, almost, become vegetarians! Room comfortable and Solaman a very helpful &...
