We stayed at Wind Haven in December 2014 as a family. From start to finish it was a really disappointing experience. No hot water (Its was cold), no working TVs, dirty rooms, no working showers, hard beds, smelly bed linen, poorly trained hotel staff and worst of all, bad food. The icing on the cake was the noise from the...

Dear Mrs.Neha, Thanks for staying at Wind Haven. My apologies for the displeasure caused to you and sorry about the hot water issue which was rectified on the very next morning. Please note the following facts about your stay here:- 1) Your father in-law took this package with a 10% discount from the travel agents rate as he is my...

The hotel itself is relatively clean, has WiFi and has friendly reception staff that really do try to help, but that is where the positives stop. This is not a three star hotel perhaps a 2 star. The first two days we were there the hotel had no hot water as it was being repaired but the worst is that...

Ramakkalmedu is about 40 km from Thekkady. We got booked into this hotel as we were on an economy package and probably not fitting into Thekkady prices. It turned out to be a happy accident. Ramakkalmedu, itself, is a must-see location. There are two view-points which are trekkable in about 15 to 30 minutes. You get a panoramic view of...

We had booked online into this resort feeling convinced by the Trip advisor awards and also a few reviews. However on checking in to this place our expectations of a relaxed Christmas Holiday were completely ruined. We had checked into the suite room and to my surprise the toilet (sitting commode) did not have a seat cover. On trying to...

We stayed there for a day with family. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is just opposite to the hill where the "kuravan-kurathi" statue is built. The view from the hotel is also excellent. Mini is always available at the place to solve your issues and she does that extra mile to solve issues. On the day we...

This hotel is not in Thekkady its in a isolated location 4o kms from Thekkady. This is no resort its a single building which is a primitive type of Hotel with no amenities. The hotel has four staff who manage everything from taking your luggage to cleaning the room & serving you. Food quality was pathetic as they try to...

we a group of 11 persons stayed in the resort in December, the place is little far from Thekkady, but a nice cool place, and those who wish to be with nature and interested in adventure like trekking must consider this place, and keep a day separate for this place into their tour plans. except for one coffee percolator issue...

The resort was fantastic and the lady (owner of the resort) was very helpful. Food was very good, price was okay too. But if you are planning to visit thekkady don't get into here, this is almost 40 km from thekkady. However, there are some visiting places around the resort. If you have an extra day, you can stay there...

My stay at Thekkady (WindHaven resort) was a pathetic one. I did not expect this kind of a service from a 3 star hotel. Good things first : 1) Fantastic location only because of the historical Ramakalmedu hills present closeby. 2) Staff was polite (but there is other side of the story). It was terrible experince on the following points...
