My wife Lucy and I had 2 nights at Ben's homestay but wish it had of been longer. Ben is an exceptional host that goes above and beyond the call of duty. His wife Anju is also an incredible cook and we thoroughly enjoyed her meals. We must do a cooking course with her next time!

House was very neat, Family members were very hospitable, location was excellent, food was very good. A good place to relax and do nothing. Walk in the coconut orchards, do fishing and take a boat ride.

My girlfriend and I were traveling from the US and stayed at Ben's Homestay for 2 nights last month - it's a gorgeous place in a calm and secluded area outside of Kochi. Ben and Anju (his wife) went out of the way to take care of us, including lending us his kayak and scooter to go around the island,...

Ben and his place was referred by my husband's colleague who already stayed at this place. I was looking to have few days of peace and quiet holiday with my doctor cousin from US. As two women travelers, we wanted to go to a place which is known and can be trusted. The place lived up to all the expectations....

Me and my wife came here at the start of our stay in India and what a start it was. So relaxing so beautiful our room over looked the back waters so we could watch the sun set while men manned their chinese fishing nets. We traveled around kerala and I can honestly say that the food we had here...

Staying with Benny's Home Stay wasn't the original plan. I came to Kochi for business and in the middle of our stay, the hotel was booked and we needed to shift to another location for a few days. Since it was over the weekend, our business host placed us with Benny's home stay. Clean, quiet, restful. Benny & his wife...

We were very fortunate to visit India during our last summer holidays and were drawn once again to stay at Ben's Homestay for the third time. Ben, Anju, Ben's Dad and the kids were so welcoming and hospitable. The serenity of this beautiful village, the backwaters, the locals especially Ben's family always made us feel at home, a home away...

We started our Kerala trip at Ben's Homestay this Christmas and loved it so much we came back at the end for some more! We stayed in the main house in a huge room overlooking the backwaters and spent plenty of time chilling on the middle balcony drinking chai and eating the delicious snacks at tea time. Ben, Anju and...

A beautiful location with very comfortable rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh breakfast of idiapams, egg curry and fried bananas. All visitors must use the local ferry and boat service to visit nearby islands and to get a feel of the local life. At a nominal rate of 70 Rs (for a family of 4) we took a one and...

We stayed at Ben's cottage during Christmas. It was an unforgettable experience for many reasons. Firstly about the cottage and the surroundings: 1. Location is superb and it overlooks the backwaters with a view of the Chinese fishing nets and the houseboat that is almost complete. 2. The building itself is constructed in a very traditional style and the rooms...
