We stayed at this hotel for a total of five nights and found it very good value for money compared to the competition. The rooms are large, well equipped and very clean, and include a seating area, coffee table and TV, and have good bathrooms which include an overhead shower with reliable hot water (something you don't often get in India!).
The restaurant is a husband (chef) and wife team and the food is very good, serving traditional Keralan fair (extremely good) as well as western food including French dishes.
The hotel staff are very helpful, in particular the hotel manager, happily giving advice on organising transport, and solving problems promptly . We used the hotel as a 'base', staying here for one night then going off to Ooty for four days, then returned for two nights before going off to Allepey and Varkala for five days. The staff were more than happy to store our excess luggage while we were away on these trips (we stayed at the hotel for our final two nights before returning home).
The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Fort Cochin's waterfront and Chinese Fishing nets, and the main streets for shops and restaurants. It is also opposite a school and in the morning you could often hear the children singing in the distance, which was magical. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of booking.

Positive side: large room space, Good restaurant,
negative side: no TV or telephone in rooms, Below average room service, no internet facility

we are stayed here 2 nights, @night we are fighting with mosquito's, due to no phone facility, we have to go reception for our requirements.

I stayed at the hotel for 9 nights. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and very clean. The hotel stuff is very nice and friendly. I was there for a yoga retreat, so we had a chance to practice on the roof top. Personally, I really-really like the food at the hotel. I red many bad reviews about it, but I'm not sure why. Dipu and Aroma are amazing cooks. I also took a cooking lesson with them. I like the mild and delicious flavors of traditional Kerala foods. The rooms get cleaned every day, and we got fresh towels every day as well. The hotel is very close to the market, the art center, churches, the beach, the ferry, and the fishing nets. I had a wonderful time in Fort Kochi. You get what you pay for. If you want top quality, you need to book a resort.

I stayed at the hotel for five nights and was grateful for the help of the manager and flexibility of the restaurant manager in catering to my requests. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean. There was no noise from other guests and the room amenities were as stated. The location was in a less crowded part of town which was also nice.

Very ordinary basic hotel in an uninteresting part of town. The breakfast was extremely poor. For less cost we found a very nice hotel at the other end of town. Would not recommend this hotel for tourists.

We were booked in here as part of a trip expecting it to be a hotel ..... very disappointed! The room was very basic and not very clean. Sheets on the beds were grey, marked and torn from double sheets! Restaurant on top floor is meant to be 24 hour and multi cuisine .... it's neither. None of the European dishes on the menu are available, and the young man running it sleeps in the cupboard in the cafe, so I suppose you could wake him up early morning! Ill fitting door to room allowed cockroaches to enter from the outside.
Saving graces - a/c, fan and free use of internet on reception computer.
If you want a back packers' place, I would think this is probably good, but a hotel it certainly isn't!

I liked Casa Linda since the first time I stayed there. The staff is very helpful and friendly and prices are reasonable. Rooms on the second floor have a view to a garden and the hotel location is very near the sea shore.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint was a very loud goat in the neighbours garden which woke us very early every morning.

Stayed at the Casa Linda for 1 night in January. The room was clean with good A/C, a comfy bed and a decent bathroom. The manager was exceptionally helpful and gracious. The hotel is conveniently located for all the tourist sights and I would thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay.
