We love the ambience of the hotel. The heritage appearance is perfect for pictures. The food was average considering the fact we had only vegetarian, but the hospitality was very good. Nice experience.

The hotel is actually located in Ernakulam rather than Cochin and in what is really a back street (Rose Street). I have travelled to India on 6 previuous occasions and stayed in many many different hotels and accommodation at all levels. My first impression was that this was a "tired" hotel that was in need of some repairs and renovations....

despite the structure needs some renovation, all guys are very gentle and sweet. In any case a genuine place, with no pretensions to many fancy hotels around. Real India, for real travelers. Thanks, I will return

Had a nice couple of nights here, it's in a great local for Fort Cochin, not too busy a street, but good for restaurants, the Kathakali Centre, and fishing nets. We didn't eat here, but the restaurant looked pleasant.

The Mightier Rositta Wood Castle is a fine castle, built with a panorama of the surrounding sea breeze from the queen of Kochi (Arabian Sea). From the casement once stood for waving hands and to absorb the beauty of the sea , and the children in the family makes the paper quiver and arrow ready to fly. Steadfast walls were...

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and history all around you. Walking distance from the Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, good restaurants (and beer and wine parlours!) and the ferry to Vypin.

This is a good, cool place, but for a very small time stay. More than the hotel room, you would like to go around, and have a good time spent over the beech. Food here is average. For vegetarians, please go with a bag packed with biscuits, chips, and other stuff, as you might not find anything other than the...

Nice place, and very classic old European style construction, can be given excellent, if only they include restaurant and room services, and need to maintain the facility, helped with the cab but was very expensive though it was third party
