Great place. Not the typical simple sleepover, it gives more than just a bed. Charismatic staff, creative, exquisite and memorable villa. Bathhub in the rooftop, great garden, horse as a pet, and other surprises.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Nice and relaxed environment. Great place to meet fellow travellers. Shared an eco house boat tour with superb breakfast and lunch included 5*. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food was good and the room well kept. By the way, there's a horse in the garden. Her name's Raya and sometimes she enjoys joining...

Johnson gave me a great reduced rate because I would be staying alone in the room. Train pick-up was included. Room was big with a balcony. Hot showers and comfy bed. Lemon juice on arrival-after a long journey this was a delicious surprise. Bindu, one of the ladies that work there was very friendly towards me. Johnson was friendly and...

I stayed 4 nights at Johnson home stay (I only planned two at the beginning !). He gave me a lot of good advises, and I went for an eco house boat tour which was a great experience. People there are really nice and helpful. Definitely a nice place to be.

Stayed here for two nights, highly recommend. Mr Johnson was very friendly, helpful, informative and in addition his staff were really nice. Room was well maintained and much more than expected. The homestay is well positioned, walking distance from the beach and some restaurants yet in a quite area.

I had two great days at Johnsons homestay. The owner is a legend, pure man who tries to help wherever he can. The rooms are clean, very spacious and have a balcony. It's close to the beach and not far away from the back water. Since it is one of the first homestays they know everything about the area and...

We arrived with little idea of where to stay, a rickshaw brought us to Johnsons and we were happy for the suggestion. Good chill out vibes, comfortable with a really helpfully host and lovely staff. Highly recommended if you're passing through for the backwaters!!!

My friends and I stayed at Johnson's for 2 nights. The room was great value for money. All the staff were really helpful, making lemon tea for my sick friend and a great breakfast. Johnson himself recommended a good restaurant to eat at and also organised us pick up from the bus station. Cannot recommend this homestay enough. Great value...
