We stayed in the Hideout Cabin. Very cozy and very relaxing. This is a great destination to get away and relax. Very romantic and a great place for couples. It is located about 15 min from downtown so we brought food to cook. They have all the amenities from seasonings to plates, to pots and pans. The view from our... More

We stayed here for a ski-trip weekend. The cabins are a little close to one another and the road up to each cabin can be very treacherous (the road was just mud and we barely made it to our cabin). The cabins are tiny! It's great going somewhere with a full kitchen and grill-but don't expect much working space. In... More

We stayed at the Bottle House Cabins in October 2014 and had a wonderful time. Our cabin was small but efficient with all your basic needs attended to including coffee/creamer/sugar for the morning. Space was tight, so I would not suggest maximum occupancy to these cabins as it would be very close quarters! It was wonderful that they allowed dogs... More

We LOVED our weekend getaway at the Hideout Cabin! We loved how spaced out and remote the cabins were compared to the others in the area, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin was perfect! Cozy and homey, and the fully equipped kitchen was wonderful to be able to hole-up for the weekend. The electric fireplaces came in... More

My family and I stayed in the Lillian cabin for 3 nights and absolutely loved the experience. The cabin was perfect and the kids loved the loft. I liked that it was more remote than most of the cabins we looked at in Ruidoso. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Loved sitting on the covered deck and the kids... More

We had the worst experience with the owner, a terrible woman who threw us out. We were given our refund and told to leave because we complained that our propane grill wasn't working properly. It was a sad old propane grill that didn't work. She threw such a hissy fit that we complained. She said she was selling the place... More

when these folks called to say BBQ wasn't working properly, I had to tell them that I did not have an extra BBQ and that I would need to wait for my husband to get home so that we could move one off one of the other decks of a cabin that had no one there for the night. Ten... More

When we got t bottle house cabins I was received to not see many people and cabins right next to each other because we drove threw ruidoso on way here and there was a ton of people I wanted quiet privacy and defiantly could tell bottle house would provide that. The road to our cabin was little steep made me... More

Bottlehouse Cabins offers a unique, true mountain experience high above the quaint, often-crowded town of Ruidoso. Situated literally up a mountainside, each cabin is expertly placed with privacy and views at a premium with large covered porches. Leave the noise and tourists behind as you enjoy your cozy cabin equipped with all your camping needs and an optional personal hot... More

We booked a room and upon arriving we were met by a very rude woman who made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted!! We didn't even stay. I would suggest to anyone find somewhere else to stay where the staff knows what good customer service is!!

I don't know who you are, and didn't hear anything about you from my staff. It probably was me that was rude and it was probably the day after I had to break up an underage drinking party, after we allowed them to check in late, which they planned so that we would not see how underage they really were.... The definition of a cabin is a small, simple house made of wood. The Bottlehouse Cabins are more than that. Much more. If you want to inject some style into your getaway, don’t walk, run to Alto, New Mexico (suburb of Ruidoso). My boyfriend and I stayed at the Travis Cabin, one of the smaller cabins, however it had a... More

“If you are traveling as a couple, The Hideout is a must (most privacy and King bed). Parties of 4 or more, try the Ian (fantastic view, high atop the complex).”

“The Ian Cabin has a great balcony and nice view. Only downside is getting to the cabin as it is steep driving up the hill. I would not recommend having the sleeping capacity as it would be cramp. We had just 2 of us and it was perfect size.”
