Had a beautiful honeymoon at James's property where everything seemed perfect - the little wooden cottages, the hills in the distance, the creek that drifted by, the windmills that blew, the aroma of freshly made pancakes, James's three boys frolicking about with three adorable dogs (Benny is a personal favourite). The temperature was nippy and we woke up on a...

I stayed at James' property once during my visit last year in December. So when my friends made plan to visit Meghalaya, Maplepine Farm was an obvious choice. A couple of pointers before you consider staying here. 1. This is not a hotel, you do not get room service. As james' website rightly reads, there are plenty of hotels around....

As a huge fan of off beat locales, maple pine farm was the ultimate getaway for us. James and Valerie are amazing, the food was exceptional, cabins amidst nature were clean and cozy - the place was simply perfect and we would def love to come back.

Mr. Perry and his wife Valerie are wonderful people and great hosts. We were two friends from guwahati and we stayed for two nights and they really went out of their way to make us comfortable. Food was excellent with good portions; Valerie is an amazing cook and I still can't get the pork barbeque and the fried pork out...

little haven in the valley. Perfect hospitality and stay option. The owner of the farm is a nice man and has done the place very very tastefully. The log cabins are comfortable, we opted for the ones without the shower areas as they were the ones only available. if you are not very comfortable about showering in a common bath...

MaplePine Farm is a collection of cottages, two windmills, solar panels, a massage room and a foal lounge. James and Valerie along with their three sons, two dogs and two cats call it home. They have been generous enough to share this bit of heaven with tourists as well.Quaint cottages, the silvery stream and the verdant hills and land around...

We had booked a night here towards end of our 20 days bike ride across North-East. We were a little apprehensive after reading up rules and regulations on their website but you realise that it is essential to attract right kind of people. The warmth of hosts, James and family, and setting of this farm in the beautiful valley was...

Maple Pine Farm is located in the beautiful state of Meghalaya. The farm itself has two streams running on either side of it. In fact, to get to the cottages itself, one has to either wade through the water or the very helpful owner and family will drive you across in their trustworthy maruti van. My husband, 12 year old...

It has been about 10 days since we visited Maple Pine (MP). All these days my children (8 and 4) have told me how much they miss it and have asked me when we can go back there again. Possibly that summarizes our overall experience - awesome ! Staying in MP was an out of the world experience - a...
