Hotel Hindusthan International Bhubaneswar seems to have left guests with mixed feelings. While its strategic location is appreciated for being close to key transport hubs and city attractions, some travelers feel the hotel doesn't provide good value for money, pointing to overpriced services and maintenance issues. The atmosphere is often described as cozy and inviting, and cleanliness generally meets guests' expectations, except during noisy renovations.
Room experiences vary, with both cleanliness and prompt service receiving praise and criticism alike. Amenities and service also elicit a range of responses, from commendation of the gym and pool to dissatisfaction with room service and upkeep.

Stayed in D103. Room is good, though in another building. But there is no standard news or movie channel available. Only free to air channels. Early morning cleaning of adjacent rooms makes too much noise of banging doors. Staff leaves the door to be closed with full force, as there is no stopper. Both days I woke up due to noise of banging doors in opposite or adjacent rooms - about 10 times or more. However staff are polite and helpful. If you walk out of the hotel on LHS there are several street vendors selling gol gappa, chena Bora etc, the later being tasty if you have a sweet tooth. Dinner veg thali costs 650 with tax, it has only Dal & veg curry without paneer, rice, chapati, sweet, curd.

We booked a room for 3 people for 2 nights at HHI and our stay was really good. Our room was upgraded to provide for hassle free accommodation for 3 people and all service staff and reception were very cooperative. We were quite disappointed with the wifi and pizza that we ordered which didn’t seem fresh enough. The location is also accessible and is in the heart of the city with reasonable distance from all famous places.

Entered the property with not much of expectations after experience at Camelia hotel Puri as prices were comparable. However it was an awesome shock to see the magnificent property. Excellently maintained with efficient and professional reception experience. Had booked the wrong type of room by mistake, they upgraded without any charges. This was first pleasure. Room was cosy and comfortable, best and well maintained with spotless linens. Further, their room service helped by catering to special request. Breakfast was complimentary and they even provide packed one in case someone is checking out before 7AM. Breakfast spread is ready by 6:50 AM and a great choice of menu. Staff is very good, cooperative and helpful.
Thanks HHI, Bhubaneswar

Strongly avoid the Hotel HHI Bhubaneswar till they finish painting and renovation. The room are all smelling and sprayed with horrible room freshner. After check in No one will there to help the customer. If you call reception they transfer to Restaurant or some other numbers, After business meeting when i come back to hotel in evening with some snacks. I asked for Plate and fork to Room Service but they cant able to provide me. Peoples in room service and Cleaning department are very uneducated, not professional. they dont know english, they dont have manner how to behave with customer even the room service staff dont know the menu what they have. After three time request i got one plate with argument. Very much upset with the waiters behavior. I will never recomend any of my friends to go. Kindly keep well educated staff if you really doing Hospitality Business. Thank you.

There are multiple issues with this hotel, but the highlight is - (1) pure dishonesty/cheating and (2) absolute rubbish upkeep. Here are the details:
(1) Had ordered a room service dinner and when the food arrived, it did not have a certain side dish. But they made me sign for all, including the dish that I had not received. When I called and complained, first they denied and then they said it is on its way and almost about to reach me. It takes hardly 3 minutes from the kitchen to my room but even after 15 minutes when the food didn't arrive, I called up the front desk. The front desk assured me that the dish is "on its way Sir and is at your doorstep already". Another 15 minutes passed away and yet nothing arrived. I was shocked at the sheer dishonesty shown by the kitchen as well as the front desk. Then when I kept calling, they stopped picking up my phone. After 40 minutes, when somebody did pick up my phone, I had to ask them to cancel it as I had finished my dinner long long ago. Finally after an hour (!!) the dish arrived at my door and I had to gently ask them to take it away. Even after this, and after all the complaints, not a single manager came to see me and there was no apology. Quite unbelievable service from a hotel in 2024. Now, after this, I had to call them to send me a revised invoice because they had made me sign an invoice to items that they never delivered (that's an illegal activity straight away).
(2) The entire hotel has plumbing issues everywhere. I was assigned a room initially and suddenly I found a loud noise of falling water. What I found was that the falls ceiling near the entrance door had given away and almost a waterfall was gushing in. The drainage pipe near the ceiling had broken and was throwing dirty water all over my room. Upon complaining, they were quick to change my room though. However, when I reached the ground floor lobby, once again I found water dripping all over - to disgust of many around.
Apart from that, the breakfast was in absolute shambles. Food is pretty basic. The attendants have no clue how to manage the crowd. Coffee was not available on 2 mornings out of the 3 I stayed. When I ordered sunny side up eggs, I received with both yolks destroyed. I could have made myself better eggs. No fresh aloo puris as well. Quite disappointing.

My recent stay at Hotel Hindustan International, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The hotel, which markets itself as a luxury property, fell short in several key areas.
First, the rooms were far from what I expected. They appeared outdated, with worn-out furniture and stained carpets. The cleanliness was subpar, and the bathroom had a persistent musty smell. The air conditioning was unreliable, making the room either too cold or too warm, which affected my overall comfort.
The service also left much to be desired. The staff seemed indifferent to guest concerns, and even simple requests took an unreasonably long time to be addressed.
One of the biggest letdowns was the food. The quality of the meals was mediocre at best.
Overall, for the price point and reputation, Hotel Hindustan International was a major letdown. They seemed to live in past glory.
There are far better options available in the area, and I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

The check in itself was miserable , booked a pool view room , but got a room with no view . The bathroom room was not locking , there was no lock available to the glass door and wasn’t closing properly The TV was not working and took 36 hours for them to fix it The chairs and sofas were full of stains ,, the wooden floor was uneven and the room had lot of dust . Room service takes an hour to deliver simple food

Pathetic and horrible are the first two words that can describe this Hotel. Right from the reception where you had to wait endlessly to be given wrong room and then changed again to be told that the new room is the upgraded premium room where the room is stinking, broken electrical panels dirty the bathroom is dirty. The room service was late and the food was not even edible. Even during breakfast the next morning the cutlery was not clean and some of the items were not even cooked properly. Definitely not worth the price paid and not to be considered among the top Hotels in Bhubaneshwar, please Avoidvisiting unless it is the last option left.
