The property is exceptional, easy to navigate. The staff are really polite, possessing commendable civility and humility. They rightly maintain The Taj standards. I would like to specially thank Ms. Sinjini Bhattacharjee for her constant help and support throughout the check-in procedure. God bless her kind soul.
Room service was excellent, with ease of contacting and prompt responses from the staff. I had booked a breakfast-inclusive package, and it's commendable how, in a city like Bhubaneswar where I struggled to find good vegetarian food, Vivanta served such delicious, hygienic, and decadent meals! I highly recommend Vivanta for its authentic, hygienic, and excellent food.
Notably, the staff at Vivanta is cosmopolitan, making them welcoming to guests from other parts of the country. In contrast, I previously visited another famous hotel with local staff who were extremely imprudent and almost ruined my day during check-in. Thankfully, I decided to switch to Vivanta, which proved to be the best decision of my Orissa trip. I was fortunate to receive a room upgrade, thanks to Ms. Sinjini.
Travelling with my family, including a 74-year-old grandmother with slight mobility issues, the property's simple layout greatly eased navigation for her as well. This property is indeed elderly-friendly.
Compared to Mayfair, Vivanta's muted colors, perfect lighting and convenient layout better suited my preferences. For non-Odia speakers or those unfamiliar with Orissa, Vivanta offers unparalleled ease and hospitality, owing to it's cosmopolitan staff.
Lastly, I appreciate the staff member at the gate who made an extra effort to facilitate my external delivery. Commendable hospitality! I would like to thank Ms. Riyu who helped me at the time of breakfast consistently, giving us full hospitality and attention, which made the dining experience all the more fulfilling. I would also like to thank Mr. Subhojeet who helped me during check out, and was quick at billing, which made the check out very convenient and quick.
The in-room dining experience was awesome, but a helpful tip: remember to inform them if you're not comfortable with spicy food. I also ordered a cake, which was delivered promptly and professionally within 2 hours.
Would like to extend my thanks to Vivanta Bhubaneswar team for making my stay a wonderful and memorable one! May God bless you, and may you continue to grow and succeed progressively!

I attended Vivanta for the Ekadasaha function of my aunt, Manju Dash, on 6th August, 2024. I must say I was deeply impressed by the expansive structure of the hotel and its exemplary service. The interiors are spacious, grandiose and spotless. The room in which we congregated was beautiful, high-ceilinged with stunning, glittering chandeliers that caught everybody's attention. The staff offering appetizers and snacks were very polite. The food was superb. Employees don't leave guests to wander about, but courteously help them find their way easily, whether to the elevator or to a specific room. Arrangements made for my aunt's Ekadasaha tribute were impeccable. Everything was as flawless as can be. Definitely a great experience đź‘Ť Would love to visit again and again.

The crew in the restaurant and the bar were very energetic and knew the menu well, gave excellent recommendations keeping the hot weather in mind.

The property is beautifully decorated and is pretty big for a city like Bhubaneswar. The food was top notch and staff was courteous and ready to help. Yet there was a lack of management, I found the service to be a bit slow and also there wasn't any coordination between the booking partner (IHCL) and Vivanta. I had made full payment for the property online but the hotel staff kept pestering me as they couldn't find the payment. That was definitely not something I expected from a reputed chain hotel where you cannot verify payment for a booking made on your website. Options in breakfast menu can be enhanced to include more vegetarian friendly options. Also, the interior of the rooms can be revamped to be more modernisitic. No welcome drink was provided which was an absolute shocker.

We had a very bad experience during our stay, they team didn’t bother to even clear n clean our room, we had left property in morning 11 am and 2:30 Pm we were back and the house keeping didn’t even bother to do the job, on asking why wasn’t it done they said did we ask the front desk to clean ? We were shocked to hear this ? Even for basics also do we have to ask at such a property
The staff seems to be non experienced, untrained and management seems to have left everything to the junior team..
Do don’t expect these things to happed at such property when you are paying such heavy premium charges for a day charge!
I think we should have choosen this property l, book wisely don’t go on the name !

Vivanta by Taj is the best hotel in Bhubaneswar in terms of everything. Staff is so well trained that you’ll feel customer satisfaction in all areas; be it room cleanliness, food, services, behaviour, treatment. The stay was short but very comfortable. The view from the top floor room was unimaginable. It’s only greenery that is seen from there. The room size was good and hospitality of the staff was commendable.
Ate local food there in the coffee shop and food was yummy too. The lawn next to the coffee shop was well maintained and the filter coffee served during the breakfast time was very different.
Overall a great experience and will go back there again.
