It was a perfect hotel for a night stay right opposite to the railway station parking lot. Quite clean. Movement to other sight seeing was a best one. I happened to go to Puri had to stay one night to catch next day morning train to Puri. I started in the morning train to puri and reached in 1 hour or so and then had dharshan of Jagannath and returned by bus was back in hotel by 2pm. Road side food to taste Oriya food - lot of options available

Very old hotel. Looks from outside is good. You can feel the reality once you enter. Rooms renovated long ago. Now has stains all over.
Pros: 2 mins walking distance from platform no.1 Room charges for AC room within Rs. 1600/- all incl. if booked through OYO. Search for OYO 057 in Bhubaneswar in Oyo app. Rooms are as per pic shown in OYO.
Cons: Room service is worst. Waited for atleast 45 mins. for dinner, waited more than 40 mins for snacks,mineral water is available only on cash payment though it is shown as an item in menu card. Behaviour of front office staff is worst.

I happened to stay for 3 days in this Hotel. I was disappointed by the ambience everything starting from the lift to the bathroom and rooms are ancient and dirty. On my third day of stay the room was not even cleaned and beds were not made up I got a shock when tired and wary I returned to room at 6 PM. The manager effectively turned a deaf ear to my complains. Definitely not for families as surrounded by a host of liquor shops and drinking goes on free on the street. Good things-They have a 24 hour check out system and food is okay for the cost and Railway station is nearby. Final Verdict Avoidable as for the same cost much better options available.

Normally I am not a person who is very critical , but for this Hotel Richi I have to give a real view point for other travelers. The location is good just bang opposite the rail station of Bhubaneshwar that's the only positive. The hotel is a very old property and in a very bad shape . They have covered the Hotel with Glass Plates to perhaps hide the decay . We were in a VIP room but it was like a railway waiting room , very poor quality They give you complimentary breakfast which will be same for 365 days and is horrible . The worst part is the front-office staff very lazy and rude , they took nearly half an hour after we had a confirmed online booking . The waiters will be always asking for tips whenever they will serve you . The Hotel has more staff than guests I think the management should revamp all possible aspects . There are good Hotels in around the Station with lesser rates also . I will not recommend anyone this Hotel which names Richi but is far from any richness.

I presume this hotel is situated near Bhubaneswar railway station where we stayed for 2 days. Room and bath room are good. But lobbies, varandhas are A bit dirty, people seen sleeping there, neatness not found anywhere. Front office people are too casual and less attentive. The very locality / area where the hotel is situated is not good and neat.Just very normal surroundings. No restaurant as breakfast is served in the room.Tariff is also high looking at above deficiencies / drawbacks. Do not recommend for those who prefer decent stay.

Only advantage, it's well located, apart from that, nothing is as expected. amenities wardobs gives a feel of b&w movies, everything needs renovation. Informed several times to check the TV of oldest model nobody bothered.

Cons - All waiters shall be behind you for tips. Everytime duty changes for waiters they shall ask for tips. Daily three times i think this duty changes. For some items like mineral water, cold drink, soda etc they want cash money everytime though they say it is available in house. Check in steictly at 12 noon if booked through OYO. Maximum it may be 11.30 am. I paid Rs.600/- extea for 10 am check in. Pros- I stayed in Deluxe rooms. Book it through Oyo to get cheaper prices. Rooms are really huge. Clean room, good working ac, clean toilet, clean linens. Food quality average. U have plenty of options outside hotel too. Complimentary Breakfast have only 2 options. Non veg and veg. I had non veg consisting of Four breads with jam and butter, 1 small omlette, 1 singara, one banana and one sweet. Not bad though. Location of hotel is next to platform no 1. Its the first hotel on the right side after coming out of platform no 1. Overall recommended both for business travel and families.

Wanted a room to spend the night with family and it suited us for that. One cannot expect too much at this budget and so no use cribbing on the deficiencies. Location is fantastic, few paces from the Railway station and Mastercanteen Chowk. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, linen could have been cleaner though. Staff were helpful and check in and out were hassle free. Limited parking available outside. Plenty of food options all around, and we checked out early morning so cannot comment on their free breakfast.
