I stayed at Ginger Hotel in September, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is well-maintained, with modern amenities and a clean, comfortable environment. The staff was courteous and quick to respond to any requests, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

I had a great experience with the laundry and room cleaning services at Ginger Bhubaneswar Hotel.
Sukhant Panda was punctual, and very attentive to detail. My clothes came back perfectly clean and fresh, and the room was spotless and well-organized.
Sukhant was polite, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and efficient service!

Excellent stay at Ginger Hotel, Bhubaneswar for three nights. I am a handicapped person and they had a special room for disabled people with thoughtful additions to the washroom and to the room in general.
My stay was made more comfortable especially by the duo of Sukanta Panda and Sanjit Samal who were always available whenever we needed them. Sometimes even going out of their way to show hospitality and making my stay memorable.

A budget friendly place for business trips. Decent rooms and facility provided.
Would like to comment on staff behaviour as fair, mostly trainees would be appointed where they are not able to handle customers in an efficient manner.
Haven't seen the manager come and talk to the guest even if the guest calls out for them.
They have recently started charging for cutlery if you order food from outside, when asked for the reason the staff mentioned that manager said since the ratio of people ordering food from online / delivery apps has increased we will start charging for cutlery as it is affecting us. not sure what practice is this. i have been a gold member of Marriott group and have stayed at other IHCL properties multiple times (like Vivanta, Taj, etc ) never seen this action of theirs where guest would have to pay for cutlery.
Would recommend the guest to check for all hidden charges and fees before the book this property or check-in so they don't end up paying more for unwanted expenses.

I had to make same day booking for one night at Bhubaneshwar while traveling, the reservation was smooth with no hassle of asking for credit card details or pre-payment. The breakfast was good. However the room was filthy, not clean, lack basic amenities, room walls and floor was very dirty, linen and towels were not clean, the old expired bed mattress was most uncomfortable. The overall room quality was like a small town buspark lodge or a railway retiring room of a small station. Price wise against the service and quality it is very high. Arriving at the hotel no one was attending, had to pull luggage by myself. No body asked for pre payment at the time of check in but after two hours (while I was out of the hotel) reception staff called and asked me to come immediately to make the payment, next some staff called to reconfirm my booking and asking whether I'm checking in or not, while I have already checked in 2 hrs before. Overall it was not a good impression of a TATA group chain hotel. Some of the temple dharmshalas in India are far better than this hote. Thanks god Respected late Ratan Tata will not be reading this review. A complete case of NO NO, not again.

Pathetic hotel. My overall experience with hotel was really bad. They do not have staff for cleaning, services. Looks like they do overbooking and want gu at to come after 6 pm so they can make additional money for the 9-5 bookings. I called and informed them in advance that I will be doing a late check in and will reach at 4:30pm and asked them to keep the rooms ready. When I reached at hotel they were searching for the rooms and looking for staff to get them cleaned. It took 1:30 hrs for me to get the last room keys and we were waiting in the lobby most of the time. Room linen / pillows were not clean, we called several times to the housekeepers, reception to get them replaced but they didn’t care. finally called the operation manager to get them replaced at 10:30 in the night.

I had a wonderful stay at Ginger Bhubaneswar I must say that the housekeeping staff truly made a difference. They were incredibly helpful, cooperative, and always had a warm smile on their faces. My room was kept spotless every day, and they went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed.
Their attention to detail and willingness to assist made my stay even more comfortable. It’s clear that they take great pride in their work, and I truly appreciate their efforts.
A big thank you to the housekeeping team one of which is Prabhasini Jena for their outstanding service. She was very very warm and caring.

This is with regard to the booking we made for Ginger Bhubaneshwar.Â
The hotel was booked for 3rd-4th January, 2025 and we booked it for an emergency situation at 12am on 4th January.Â
It is pertinent to note that the room we booked was a double room. However, we got a shabby old room with twin beds.Â
For a room that we have checked into at 1:30am for an emergency, we were scammed by getting asked to pay â‚ą1500 for an extra occupancy but were given a room with twin beds.
Initially, we were being asked to go to the second building which had lights switched off and smelled horrendous of dead rats.
Further, the lady at the reception was exceptionally mean to us.
The hotel looks like a shabby 1 star hotel which looks unlike the pictures. We have been conned and our safety is at stake.
Lastly, please find attached screenshots of the room we had booked and pictures of the room and washroom that we were forced to take at 1:30am

We have ever seen the person like Mr. Sukant Panda - Housekeeping always charged up for Room cleaning and sincerity towards his responsibilities.

Was a great place to stay here Ginger Bhubaneswar staff was very polite and makes you feel @home .
At the reception you have "Roshni" who is very helpfull ,polite and prompt in completing the checkin formalities .
Comming to the room cleanliness Mr Panda and Ms Pooja from housekeep team were very helpfull in catering to requests for med making room cleaning with a smile always
In the restaurant we really had a homely feeling with the staff there Ramesh ,Deepak , Biswaranjan & Nalu were very helpffull in catering to food in the buffet as per my taste less spicy . They always saw all the guests in the dinning hall had a sumptous meal . Served all hot naan to the table , when any dish was over they used to get refill from kitchen and serve to table .
This team in the cafeteria is very superb good
The stay in Ginger Bhubaneshwar is not complete if i dont acknowledge "Laxmidhar" he is a deaf dumb but always a smile on the face and he never makes you feel that you will not get help from him with the sign support he always check with his way to see if your facing any issues he will make you feel destress once you interact .
