The Serai is a fantastic luxury destination. We were ready for this serene location after the noisy horns of so many cities in India. The resort could not have been more perfect, the greeting by the manager, a champagne refreshment and our bags magically whisked away and appeared in our room! You are assigned a private butler who serves you... More

We stayed at The Serai for 2 nights. We had an exceptional amazing stay. The tent was wonderful as was the whole lodge area. The stuff was very friendly. The pool was amazing and we spent there an afternoon without any other guests...wow... We can recommend having the sundowner together with a jeep ride in the afternoon/evening. One evening we... Peaceful, stylish, personalised boutique, the exotism of sleeping in tented suites - it is all there! We enjoyed thoroughly. Three comments: the spa services are excellent, the staff is overly committed and enthustaistic, but the cuisine could be somewhat better (few Indian dishes, breakfast a bit austere...).

We had 3 nights of pure luxury at the Serai. An hour away from Jesselmer makes it a perfect and peaceful stop for exploring the old fort city and experiencing the surrounding desert villages and landscapes. The spacious tented suites are magnificently presented with everything one would need. The staff are very attentive but not overbearing. The butler service to... More

I loved this . Its super chic highly stylised and great service. My husband and i disagreed on the styling he though it didn't take account of the environment nd it was too albeit beautifully 'manufactured" but I loved it. The tents are very comfortable with huge showers great seating area and we had a private garden with plunge pool.... More

The camp is nothing short of beautiful, with tents elegantly appointed with traditional camp furnishings, set in a natural desert garden. That's just the beginning. Definitely do experience the incomparable sunset camel ride, to experience the magic of a bygone era. Relax by the pool under a private tent; and enjoy a delicious meal under the stars, on the graceful... More

we atayed two nights at the Serai. We arrived at night and were struck by the large quantity of lanterns lining the paths, pool, etc (over 350 I believe). Stunning reception tent. We were escorted to our tent...fantastic. Large, comfortable, clean, with a private pool/jacuzzi. Good air conditioning but noisy. Fantastic pool next to the reception tent. Dinner was also... More
