Royal camp is located very close to Sam sand dunes in Jaisalmer... We stayed in a tent.. of course it wasn't a luxurious tent but yet it was comfortable.. initially I was a bit apprehensive but later my inhibitions vanished.. enjoyed the camel and Jeep safaris in the desert... Mr. Sawai Singh sodha made the trip even more fun by...

Disgusting !!! Worst experience of my life. Most dirty accommodation. .... cottage was filthy ... bed sheets were dirty looking ... the duvet was torn and had cotton spilling out, there was a tv which the attendant said would not work. Layers of dust and dirt. At one point there was no water in the filthy toilet and bathroom..... after...

Our package included a camel ride and sunset in the desert. Since it was a nice sunny day we saw a wonderful sunset. Then we were welcomed in the camp with welcome drinks and seated near a camp fire. Local artists performed songs, dance and kartal. Though the level of expertise is not too high, but is was overall enjoyable....

It was a surprise! Had not expected such cleanliness and comfort in the middle of a desert. We took a cab from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and further to Sam. The tents, bedding and toilets were very neat. We had a camel ride in the evening to watch the sunset in the dunes and after that had a cultural programme with...

We stayed for a night in Royal Desert Camp Jaisalmer. They arranged for camel ride, jeep safari. It was a great experience. Never to miss Desert Safari via Camel and Jeep. Snacks, dinner and the breakfast were good. Enjoyed the night cultural programme and stay at deluxe tents.

This is a old camp and tents are looks old as well. Food quality is average and overall entertainment package should have made better. Stayed for a night and after 9 pm there is nothing to do! Only good part is the people working there. Very helpful and prompt in responding! Overall need to upgrade the package to stay competitive!

We had a wonderful driver, a knowledgeable gentleman, during our two week holiday in India. We were therefore disappointed to know that his accommodation at Royal Desert Camp was less than satisfactory. It was dirty, no sheets were provided for his bed and the food and drink he was offered was not always forth coming. I was also surprised to...

Remember where you are when rating a desert camp - I was prepared for less and found so much more. Our tent bedding and bathroom was very clean. Mr Nihal Khan was extremely attentive and engaging. The entertainment was world class, literally, as the musical group and dancers had performed overseas. Good idea to take change or small notes when...
