One of the best hotels we stayed at during our 4 week holiday in India, and one of the most affordable! Only a short walk to town and to the fort but with an amazing view of both. The rooms all offered views of either the desert or the fort, they were immaculate and clean but also gorgeously decorated with...

I’m not quite sure to start with this place as it was just so great! We arrived from Bikaner very early in the morning and we were picked up from the train station (one of the only hotel lifts that actually showed up!) and taken to the hotel, and after a nightmare journey it was such a wonderful relief. As...

We were ready for this quiet, small guest house outside the city walls. We felt that we were in a small neighborhood and enjoyed watching the camels pulling water tanks, seeing goats meandering and people walking to work/homes. We experienced very friendly staff, great service, and marvelous rooms. We enjoyed lazing on the roof top restaurant before dinner watching the...

Simply wonderful! Yes, I àm not exaggerating but my stay at the Fifu Hotel was perfect. I arrived very early in the morning at 5 am and, even if I should have waited until 12 pm (the checkout time) , they let me accommodate in a beautiful room. The room was nice, spacious and clean and with beautiful furniture. The...

My wife and I stayed here in mid Jan for three days. I preferred staying here (about a 10 minute walk to the fort) rather than inside the Fort since the the fort can be a little crowded and dirty. It was good to be able to walk in/out of the fort at our leisure. The room was nicely decorated...

It is outside of town but town is dirty and its a 10 minute (30-40 rupee) tuk tuk away from the fort. Room was really nice and very CLEAN. Better than Umaid mahal (jaipur). For people travelling around India with approx this budget (c. 2000 Rs per night for a couple), then this is among the best hotels you will...

A small hotel, good clean rooms, clean toilets ensures a comfortable stay. It is a great place to come back to after being outdoor most of the day in Jaisalmer. Some rooms have a great view of the fort. The view from the roof top cafe was beautiful.

My husband and I stayed here recently and were very pleased. The hotel is charming, built in lovely Jaisalmer sandstone, and the rooms are tastefully decorated in traditional Rajasthani textiles. Yes, the rooms are on the small side, but unless you're planning on spending lots of time in the room (why would you when there's so much to see in...

Our stay at Hotel Fifu (4 days) was the highlight of our 2 weeks'trip in India. The rooms are decorated with an exquisite taste, each one in a different colour with silk curtains matching the bed covers and the cushions. The bathrooms were wonderfully clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure to have breakfast on the terrace with a view...

The website says that the hotel “makes you feel like you are at home”. Beautiful Jaisalmeri sandstone, fantastic Rajasthani furnishings….. I wish my home was as comfortable or as beautiful. Technically we stayed next door at the Jasmin Haveli but it’s really an extension of Hotel Fifu. (Personally I don’t see why it would have a different name when it’s...
