This lodge really knows what it's doing, everything runs smoothly, staff are efficient, friendly and unobtrusive. We stayed in a heat wave in a tent but the fan and aircon (topped up with ice!) made it bearable and unforgettable. The food was plentiful and authentic and breakfast staff super helpful, nothing too much bother. There's a cool library room where...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last week and we had a room on the first floor. It's not 5 star accommodation but the hotel is very homely with extremely helpful staff (especially Ram) and the owners can offer great advice about the tigers and the National Park. it also appears that this hotel, in particular, attracts...

Stayed for only 1 night with my daughter and we stayed in the tents. The tents were clean and comfortable, the Staff were always friendly and helpful and the food was plentiful and good. I would recommend staying here.

We stayed here for 5 nights / 4 days, and had 8 safaris at Ranthambore. This place was recommended by a friend as a cosy, homely and not very showy place - which was a perfect description. Comfortable stay, awesome service under the personal guidance of the owners, who live on the premises. One comment though - I'd recommend avoiding...

Felt at home the moment we landed. Music playing at the lounge filled with books was a surprise. Very hospitable & courteous staff-particularly Mr.Ram Singh. Through out the trip we felt we were in a home stay, with all the luxury conveniences. The tents were super comfortable. We had a perfect 3 day stay and would love to go back.

We stayed for two nights in February after a long drive from Agra. We were greeted by the owner as if we were old friends and immediately made welcome. Tents are comfortable with sufficient hot water in the bathroom. It felt a bit cold at night but there was an effective heater. The proximity to the railway line and main...

Stayed here for two night while visiting Ranthambhore National Park. Friendly and courteous staff. Very good food. Stayed in a tent. All in all the tent is a bit tiny. We had two suitcases and there was no really space to put things on. For a stay in a tent it was comfortable. Take a moskito net with you, because...

If you're looking for a cozy guesthouse, this is the place you were looking for. This is not a five star hotel, but a very homely place to stay. The service is excellent, the staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. It is clean and well maintained. The homemade traditional indian food is delicious and so it the continental breakfast. I...

We were a group of friends meeting after two years and stayed at TRB for 3 nights and 3 days. The hotel captures the feel of a resort set near a national tiger reserve correctly. The property is dotted with quaint touches, from the baskets used as lampshades to the dinner served outdoors. We stayed at the tents which were...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Ranthambhore Bagh opened in 1998 as a modest 12-room hotel for travelers looking out for an experience in the Ranthambhore National Park. The following year we added luxury tents, with all the facilities that a modern day traveler needs. We have now evolved to a resort which caters to all kind of specialist needs and have become the favorite hangout of filming crews, photographers, naturalists, birders and tourists who desire a richer wildlife experience. If you are the kind who wants to photograph the Indian courser or identify the different individual tigers of Ranthambore then you have reached the right place. ... more   less
