Stayed two nights in a cottage overlooking lake with resident freshwater crocodile. The villa has an eco/vegetarian philosophy and the food was varied and sufficient. When going on morning safaris you are woken with an early morning cup of tea and provided with a food bag to tide you over until you return for a late breakfast. The grounds are...

Khem Villas provides the best experience of a truly Indian holiday in a restful , elegant resort that was once the home of the well known forest conservator Fateh Singh. Its an oasis of green calm very close to the Ranthambore sanctuary. We enjoyed staying in the luxury tents fitted with the most comfortable beds and a verandah overlooking the...

After the chaos and energy of Delhi, Khem Villas is just the best place to relax and unwind. You don't have to think of anything: they wake you up, organize everything and you can literally just enjoy what Ranthambore has to offer. I went on 2 safaris with Shashank Saraswat - how absolutely magnificent to see tigers in the wild,...

We stayed at Khem Villas for two nights towards the end of our trip in Rajasthan and we wished we could have stayed longer. Khem Villas sits in a peaceful oasis, near the jungle and is frequently visited by one of the tigers of Ranthambore. The Villas are ecologically very involved and serve only vegetarian dishes. We stayed in the...

Khem Vilas, was a two day stop on our trip organised by Imagine India. Wonderful hotel based on sustainable and ecological principles employing local people where possible. The food is vegetarian and very tast, we stayed in a comfortable cottage by a lake where we could sit and observe wildlife in the evenings. It was also situated very close to...

We stayed at Khem Villas for 2 nights, wish we could have stayed longer as this, along with Jim Corbett National Park, was one of the highlights of our trip to India. Our cottage was very comfortable and clean, it was a shame we didn't have longer to enjoy it as we had 3 jeep safaris pre booked which meant...

We had a fantastic stay here recently. Both staff and accommodation was absolutely excellent. We stayed in a luxury cottage, which was just beautiful. Showering under the night sky was just the most romantic thing ever! Thoroughly recommend this place to stay whilst visiting Ranthambhore NP as it is so close to the main gate.

We stayed 2 nights in a cottage, which was offered simple and uncluttered accomodation only a 10 minute drive from the Ranthambhore National Park. The room facilities were clean and Eco-friendly. Breakfast and dinner was included in our package, which was just as well as there didn't seem to be much else around. Vegetarian options only with a wide range...

We spent 3 night here doing 5 safaris, hoping to see tigers in particular. Although many other guests did see tigers, we were always in the wrong zone at the wrong time. Nevertheless, the stay was wonderful. We had a private cottage with a view over water. It was extremely comfortable with en-suite facilities. The food was vegetarian with many...

We loved absolutely everything about Khem Villas. We stayed in a cottage, which was lovely and comfortable (we really appreciated the air conditioning!). The outdoor shower was amazing, and we loved sitting on our front porch that overlooked the lake. Service was warm and friendly, from the greeters to the servers to the naturalist, and we enjoyed the abundant, simple...
