We stayed in one of the beautifully-appointed villas (complete with both internal bathroom and external bath!). The first thing you notice after Delhi and Agra is that you no longer hear car horns, but the wonderful sound of birdsong. There is a serene quality to the whole complex, and the vegetarian menu is suitably filling (mostly locally sourced). We were...

Our stay at Khem Villas was not only the highlight of our honeymoon but truly one of our all-time top experiences. As we were on our honeymoon and the hotel wasn't full, we were upgraded to a beautiful cottage, with its own outdoor sitting areas and even an outdoor bath and shower! Every time we returned to the cottage it...

Khem Villas has different levels of accommodation. We stayed in the main house which was just wonderful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and unique. Original and well maintained, with beautiful amenities, library, plunge pool and gorgeous indoor/outdoor dining areas. Nearly all the food presented was grown sustainably on the property. It was different and delicious. We even indulged in the...

Khem Villas is a wonderful, unique experience and we had an incredible stay! After the chaos of Indian cities, Khem Villas had a serenity that is hard to describe. We stayed 3 nights in neighboring cottages overlooking a small pond complete with baby crocodiles. The rooms are extremely comfortable, complete with rocking chairs on the porch, and an outdoor bath....

The food is all vegetarian, served in a delightful dining area. Dinner starts by the fire pit with starters and drinks and moves into the dining area. The shop has beautiful handicrafts...

We stayed in one of the luxury Safari tents. It was the first time we'd ever been in an air-conditioned tent with its own ensuite. It was incredibly comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent and plentiful. Pre-dinner drinks in the outdoor bar offered the perfect opportunity to share the day's Safari tales...
