We were a little skeptical, when we missed our reservation at Raj niwas and opted for Raj palace. But after we got our room (Maharani suite), we were so happy and never regretted back at our decision. Room (Maharani suite): Cleanliness : 5/5 - Great room . Great interior. Space: 5/5. The room was quite big and has lot of...

As part of our Rajasthan tour, this hotel was booked by goibibo. This is a very old hotel and the room set up is very nice. Bathroom is ok kind. Staffs are cordial and helpful. Location is very good. City palace, lake pichola, jagadish temple and shopping areas are in walkable distance. Food was good but service was very slow.

Now, this is what i call an overall Good hotel. Even though the hotel room was mediocre, the staff was very hospitable. The food was great with very prompt service. Babu is the name of one of the hotel staff who was very courteous and on his toes. Breakfast was magical. We got whatever we ordered and was sumptuous. Location-wise...

An average hotel with roal feeling, not what you see from hotel picture on the website. Great staff, food is excellent, room size average. The biggest advantage is location which is walking distance to city palace, jagdish temple, main market.

The reviews on some sites had put us off but the experience was very different. The staff was very cooperative, the rooms were neat and clean and as per the photos shown on the site. The food was also above average. Some areas of improvement: the service was slow, they were working with a skeleton staff. The location is in...

Nice hotel with good amenities and service also good. Only thing, Location is far from lake pichola, city lake palace. It is costly if you use public transportation. Other wise for mid range hotel, worth for money.

We visited udaipur in december 2014 as a part of a case study tour and stayed in hotel raj palace. The hotel is very comfortable and I felt while staying there that it might have been converted to a hotel from a haveli. The rooms are very comfortable even though the rates are quite cheap. The restaurant is also quite...
