We stayed here for 2 days. Best homely food. Posh interior. Great location and scenic views. Caretakers are very friendly and helpful. Clean and neat rooms. Roof top garden at its best. I would definitely recommend to others

It was a 11 th hour planning, but we were lucky to get the Sree Harshav cottages at Highfield, Coonoor, from Aug 12_14...its a 3 bedroom cottage, attached baths ,, very comfy and cosy.. Sits pretty on green lawns, flower beds, amid Highfield tea plantations.. Very neat, stylishly done up, with living, dining areas, kitchen etc.. Except for the first one, the other two bedrooms are spacious enough with wardrobes too.. The bathrooms too, very neat and functional, though a little constrained for space, except the middle one. Hotwater throughout..Breakfast, @100 each, simple but very tasty idlis, dosas with sambar chutney combo was mouthwatering...kudos to the team, Mary and Francis who are the overall supervisors and manage the kitchen too.. It's like eating from your own place,, can use the fridge, or make your tea.. so polite and serviceable too, they made the stay so memorable... Also must mention Vimala, who, though I never got to see her, was so polite and helpful in our hurried booking, blocking the rooms immediately, advising about online payment etc.. A big thanks to her also.... It was a wonderful experience for all. Visiting the tea factory was the highlight of the stay too.......... Would go back anytime to enjoy their hospitality.. Also would like to point out a few things, though Francis did speak about that apologetically... The geyser_leak kept us awake throughout the night, it went plink_plonk..all the time.. also water flow was slow due to this. Again fix the washbasin almost coming off the wall, just to be safe... Anyway, a highly recommended stay_option for families,. Thanks a lot for making it so..

Very good...reception...nice place...Mr.Francis and Mary amma ....we just had homely feeling...also tea factory is just 500 mts away....climate and mountains are just few steps away from cottage....just love it...recommend others too...again in coonoor I will stay in the same cottage...feeling nostalgic

Let's start with the positives..first time I decided to book a cottage..and the positives I found staying here are
a) great location
b) quiet place with greenery all around
c) most of modern amenities there including WiFi..ac is not required as its nice and chilly weather atleast in August.. Unlike Ooty weather in Coonoor is steady and superb..we liked the cottage as such
Now let's come to the negatives
a) lack of coordination.. There is little coordination between the cottage manager and payment incharge..
b) the cook was new and the food was way below standards..the paneer sabji he cooked was the worst I had in my entire life..problem with him was he was supposed to do everything..from cooking to cleaning which is like superhuman
c) per day charges for stay and food are definitely more than what ideally should be..atleast 20-30 pct more
d) lastly, cottage manager shld stay at the cottage rather than coming on request

A beautiful, well maintained cottage in a serene location. We had a wonderful stay. Friendly caretaker, neat linnen and great accessibility. Ideal for families or small groups. the surrounding tea gardens offered great morning walks

Excellent place to stay with family . Care taker Senthil and his wife made us understand what hospitality is.. awesome ambience and the property is located in a beautiful place .. best place to unwind and only challenge is connectivity of network in the property

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner. As for the Cottage itself, from the kind, courteous, and friendly owner, to the meticulous, comfortable rooms with very well equipped kitchen, our experience was nothing less than exceptional. we had a wonderful stay in sree harshav cottages, Drummella.20 km(1 hour) drive from Ooty is quite tiresome but once you reach at Sree Harshav Cottages, it feels like entering in small beautiful peaceful heaven... we, Family of 6 Adults stayed for 1N/2D but its a place that wont let u leave so soon. 3 Bedrooms, drawing room, dining room, kitchen everything has a charm of ancient house. but once u entered in Balcony u cant stop urself from hypnotizing by lovely view, never before seen flowers, Tea farms n lots of birds, sun rise n farm fresh hot tea will make ur day.. Only thing I can say about this property is-" will come back soon"
