The property is on a very remote but fantastic location. Hills all around and gorgeous view. Wish I had spent one or two days at the property. I was in touch with Munna the gentleman to contact for price for variety of Cheese. With the permission of the owners I was allowed to buy the cheese from the destination. All...

A wonderful place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Away from the chaos that Ooty has come to be. The staff is very helpful and courteous. We found the stay enjoyable and relaxing. By far the best farm-stay experience we've had.

We stayed for four nights at the Haloumi cottage, it was a quaint 2 bedroom place with fantastic views. There is no TV and internet though, what a welcome relief! Mansoor and Tina Khan are great hosts, one must also hear Mansoor speak about his book, a really interesting theory and the book is a worthy read. The food is...

What you will take back from a stay in Acres Wild, other than the delicious cheeses of course, are the deep conversations with Mansoor and Tina, and long silences while living in the midst of nature. Mansoor and Tina personally ensure that the guests are well looked after. The story of how they moved away from the city to start...

Though known for their cheese making, Acres wild has many more delights. Firstly the Mansoor and Tina made us feel right at home. The cottages are quaint but very comfortable. Our children loved the open space and the freedom to move around on the farm. The food is simple but tasty and wholesome especially the fresh ricotta and guava jam...

Visited Mansoor and Tina's lovely farmstay early Jan. Everything about it appeals to a nature lover and someone who loves to live closer to earth. Stayed in Colby and Haloumi cottages, cannot choose between the two! Both have a unique warmth. Spent three nights eating lovely meals and chatting with Tina and Mansoor. Had some interesting conversations and tips! Such...

I was thinking of all the words I could associate with Acres Wild. Serenity and Tranquility would be apt. We had read a lot about Acres Wild, Mansoor and Cheese before booking my stay there and indeed it turned out to be as beautiful as we were hoping for. It's a lovely beautiful not so little farm of 22 acres...

Acres Wild is a homestay in Coonoor, run and managed by Mansoor Khan and Tina. Just to make it clear at the start - it is NOT a luxury resort, it's a farm. So if you are looking for a service, catered holiday, this should not be your pick. However, if you are looking to disconnect from your TV sets...

We stayed with our family for a night @ Acres Wild. The place is amazing & really scenic. Great Breakfast. Lunch & Dinner Menu could do with a little more variety. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a great stay @ Coonoor.
