The property has the absolute bare minimum with a price range that would give you a comfortable room in Chennai! Please note that there are two great advantages to this hotel. Absolutely stunning staff and the temple is a stone throwaway. The lights in the toilet are dim making it almost cave like. I suspect this is to mask the...

Besides just the location that is very near to the temple. . A distant traveller is convenient in several ways staying there.. the staff was also very helpful in arranging everythin. Rooms were cosy. Property is basically in a market where one can experience the culture and cuisines of locals besides just visiting the temple. As it was totally different...

I stayed here for 3 nights 25/28 January. It is a very simple Pilgrimage Residency situated next to the Temple. You enter the residency through their private parking place as the reception is on the first floor. I had a large room on the second floor. Was lucky to have two windows, one overlooked a wall the other over a...

I stayed at the Simap with my father on the 2nd of Feb for 1 night. Greeted by Guham who gave us a complimentary room upgrade. The room and bathroom were clean. We were given good advice about visiting the temple and where to eat. There is no other hotel closer to the east entrance of the Meenakshi temple. As...

I Booked through online on seeing many reviews. this hotel images was showed as a star hotel . but on seeing i was shocked it was like a budget lodge. Room seems to be smelling damp. Breakfast is also average. So i had shifted my hotel to Astoria..

We stayed here for one night in January. As all the reviewers mentioned, this hotel has the best location in the city for visiting the Meenakshi Amman Temple. The pedestrian-only area starts right beyond the hotel, so it's a fun and safe (no traffic!) area to explore. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. The water is...

Stayed one night last month. Located right by the temple, and within a quick tuktuk from the train, this is a good spot for exploring. The room was very basic - could do with a deep clean and a coat of paint, but it was ok. Breakfast was fine, though no table to eat at. The price was not low,...

What a wonderful hotel, hidden away from the business outside but close to temple and shops. Staff were so kind and patient and extremely helpful, we would happily stay there again. All the best to this unique hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is as close to the temple as can be with a street entrance to its parking garage and an elevator that takes you up. Guhan at the front desk was extremely helpful with every request and question we had and booked us a great guide for the temple and a car / driver...
