This was our second visit to this resort as we are fans of this location and beautiful valley view from their rooms.
We enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean with prompt room service. Room cleaning is very nice. They provided heater also in the room as we were staying with our small kids. All rooms are having beautiful valley view.
Staff is also very courteous and co-operative. Especially We want to convey thanks to Kishore and Somesh from Front Desk…Arvind and Siddick from Restaurant. They made our stay memorable.
Only one negative star for Food…Need to change the Menus of Continental Breakfast daily. Daily same menu was so irritating. Many times bowls, spoons were not available during breakfast.
For Dinner also, there are very limited menus are available. So we ordered from Zomato as no Tandoor menus were available.
Food taste is also not good. Chapatis were not freshly cooked.
Management need to work on Food Quality and Restaurant standards. Perfect Multi cuisine restaurant should be there.
Rest is fantastic ! We strongly recommends this resort to Families who are nature lovers.

Unexpected and totally satisfying views and accomodation. The property location is very unique and staff is well trained. Very spacious cottages/villas. Breakfast items were good. Since their guests are mostly from other states, they should improve their food menu to suit north indian food. Chinese food is ok. But overall 10/10. Go for it! Value for money.

I enjoyed my couple of days stay at LA Montanna. Amazing view, courteous staff, quick service specially Mr. Nathan and all the staff. The rooms are quite cozy and warm even in chilly night therefore we did not require room heater. Ample of hot water, no issue there. Trolley was operational but bit slow.

The executive cabin is well below expectations. the bedding dirty and with cigarette marks, the bath towels full of stains, the lack of lighting inside and outside the room. far below what I was expecting. finally they sold me a kind of tour that was going to last all day, which didn't happen, at 3:15 pm it was over (and I even had lunch) I paid 2000 rupees, the amount that was agreed for the whole day, and another 100 rupees for parking. The driver said it was not his responsibility, that it was just the driver. Now I understand why and I was asked if I paid at the reception. It was the first time that this happened to me, I am sad and disappointed. A place I promise not to recommend.

I found the property over priced and not worth paying morethan 3000.very badly maintained property food i would say the worst food i had in ooty. Even the washrooms they have not kept any toilet rolls,shaving kit, dental kit.
Other than the location and the view i dont suggests anyone to book.

Food and restaurant: Pathetic food and restaurant service. Avoid visiting their restaurant. There is no trained staff and food is also major disappoint. We went for dinner. They delivered partial main course first. Then starter. After 30 mins soup which was ordered in very begining. Earlier I reminded them few times and I was told soup is being prepared but when it came it was absolutely cold. So definitely it was not being prepared. Paneer 65 was also cold, tight and felt like remains of afternoon. Remaining main course was still not ready which was simple curd rice. By the time soup came half of us had their meal. So we decided to leave empty stomach. The basic expectation is atleast the main course can be served together. I understand there can be delays but would appreciate if that is communicated. Serving food in installments is really frustrating that too in incorrect sequence, giving false reason and serving cold food. That's nothing but lie. And not that restaurant was full. There were only 3 tables occupied when we went. Room: Rooms gets hot and suffocating and there is no fan. We opened door in their balcony and invited lot of mosquito.

The view from the rooms is nice. The hospitality is pathetic. I would say it is not value for money. I booked two rooms and almost paid 48 000 RS but the service I received was below 1 star. They need to hire professionals at work.

Pros: * Service from the LA Montana is wonderful * Great view through out the Day. Don't miss the sunrise from the Balcony * Food is good though they were having the limited options. * Rooms are spacious and good
Concerns (not cons): * 5kms away from the Ooty Bus stand and 5.5kms + away from the Railway station. You end up spending the 400rs atleast from either of the places to reach LA Montana * Food is too costly if you go by A la karte option * Price could be less. 5,700rs per day with breakfast is bit much I felt

We have booked the room on 9th March and I would say it worth every penny spent. Easily accessible and the room gives you a great landscape to view and you would definitely fall in love with it. Also the hospitality and customer experience provided was top notch.

The bathrooms are pretty clean, but smaller compared to the huge size of the room. They are an adequate size though. We had booked 2 rooms, 1 of our bathrooms didn't have proper fittings like hooks for hanging clothes, napkin holder, tissue holder were missing. None of the bathrooms had any ventilation window.
