Situated at around 3kms from the city center, located on highest altitude of south India & situated in top of tiger hills , here one can experience actual Ooty, compared to the city the temperature here is 3-4 degree less. The entire resort is covered by Doddabetta forest & you also find a damn behind the resort.
There are a total of 26 rooms with 6 different categories like Delux, Studio, Exotica, Premium ranging from 2500 to 5500.
We stayed in one of the Exotica rooms and our experience was amazing. Once we entered the resort, we were welcomed with garlands, the hospitality here is amazing. Beautifully decorated good quality beds, decorations as per the requirement with kettle for hot water, wooden cupboard for all settling the clothes and the washrooms with amazing benefits like dental kit, built in dispensers for shampoo, body wash, hand wash and hair dryer along with safety kits. As you slide the doors of the balcony, a pretty cushioned swing to relax, with a stunning view of the greeneries around, also sunset can be seen from the balcony and the view is mesmerizing, and If you are lucky enough, you will be able to spot Bisons at around 7-8pm, we witnessed 4-5 of them.
One can order food from the room, just by a phone call, using the planner provided, you can scan and check the menu, the f&b personnel will leave the food right at the door, on the teapa and after meal, one can leave the plates there. The Culinary here is top notch, they have wide variety of cuisines like chinese, Italian etc. We tried quite a few of them like Soup, chicken tikka, Momos, Prawns Tikka, Fish, garlic fried rice, noodles, etc. The chef really knows the dishes, each one of them were delicious.
We tried breakfast at the lawn, with the beautiful backdrop of Doddabetta. Even breakfast comes with a huge list like Kanchipuram idly, dosa,poori, omlet, etc.
Every room has a bonchure, using the QR codes, travel planning is very easy and also you can book the tickets for Botanical garden, Sim's garden etc right from your bed.
If you are bringing your kids, they have play area for kids activities. They also have Trampoline for them to have an amazing experience.

The route to reach the hotel can be a little difficult but it's worth. The taxi and autos charge around 250 INR to reach but this being a popular choice of stay, the local drivers are familiar with the location of the hotel. The reception and bell boys are extremely helpful. It's couple friendly and our stay was pleasant.

They certainly know how to keep up to their name. An entirely delightful experience. The resort is well capable of serving large groups, families and couples. With various rooms to offer. The best part of that all rooms are spacious with very clean and well equipped washrooms. It's the first resort where I had seen soap and shampoo dispensers( good idea during covid times). Suites offer big porches with swings and seating and a beautiful view of the hill. The resort has a quaint lake with a small dam ( non powered) too just a small hike away. They are taking as much precautions for covid as possible with all staff with masks, sanitisation ( contactless sanitisers in all corners of the resort), contact less room service and disinfection of luggage. A big shout out to the management Hema( very very helpful and courteous) , Mr.Bala Subramanian; the pain he took to make sure all guests are well fed and all needs met during breakfast with a big smile was so heartwarming. Entire staff is courteous and helpful ,though majority of them are comfortable with tamil but served the guests very well.. p.s they have cottages too and a trampoline for kids and two gardens( one big one small for bonfire and breakfast) Must must have the food served here, it was delicious. I recommend their chilly chicken ( green and normal) and delightz special chicken curry.

The process from the booking until the check out was hassle free. The team contacted us a day prior to confirm the arrival times and any specific arrangements to be made (birthdays etc.)The check-in was smooth at the reception who made everything comfortable with regard to stay and all the sightseeing info around ooty. The staff escorted us to the room where we introduced all the amenities and services that can be availed in the room. Spacious room with Coffee maker, Water and toileteries. A cosy ambience, perfect for a 3-day stay with a good balcony view. The breakfast is a buffet and arranged outdoor in the garde. Dinner will be served at your room in reasonable time. The chef needs an appreciation as he personally asks for the review of the food & can get it customized with regard to dietary restrictions. Heaters also are availbale for daily rent.
What needs improvement: 1. The approach road in the last one km to the resort is very poor- Steep & full of potholes. Unless one is used to the high altitude terrains this can cause wear and tear to the vehicles. The team has admitted it themselves but if they rectify this approach, we have no second thought of recommending this stay. 2. Parking space although there is slightly limited (10 cars fit in). Apart from these, we really felt home away from home and we have to thank Bala, Ritu and Ajith and the entire helper staff for making it a memorable stay for us. Would love to stay again once the approach to the resort in intact!!

Inspired from videos in social media, I enquired this resort for a stay of 2N. Mr. Ajith gave me different options and suggested to take a villa instead of rooms, such that 12 people could be accommodated. It was cost efficient and also helped us to be at home. The resort is located at a beautiful hill top with nice views. So, apart from the rooms at the resort (main building), they also have 2 duplex villas (bit down from the main building, ~200 meters). Each of them can easily accommodate 10 to 12 adults. We took the bigger one of two which had a covered parking, 3 bedrooms (plus extra beds if needed), 3 single beds, Dining, kitchen and a small garden behind. At night, we had a complimentary bonfire just for us at the villa gardens and there was a caretaker who made all the arrangements. Lunch and Dinner are made to order, prepared in the kitchen at main building and delivered at the villa. The staff are very kind and they did the best to take care of our needs throughout the stay. Buffet Breakfast is served at the main building (outdoor setup) and we had to go there every morning. We took a parcel for senior citizens at villa. The restaurant manager always went an extra mile to make sure that food packed is hot. Food quality and quantity through out was good and sometimes was customized as per our requirement. Since the villa is bit away, food delivery or housekeeping becomes a problem. Food has to be ordered atleast one hour before and most of the times, it took more than that to get delivered. Though the food / Coffee delivered comes in a hot pack, it doesn't not serve the purpose. Housekeeping is not readily available and it takes time. There is no intercom and the mobile lines are always busy. These are some of the operational issues, if taken care, definitely increases the quality of stay. As I said before, they do not have a restaurant and as a result the food is always served / delivered at rooms.
Note: The bedroom in the top floor (accessible from entrance of the villa), does not have attached toilet. The 2 bedrooms in the basement (lower floor) had attached toilets. For senior citizens, this might be a factor to think before choosing this villa. Apart from this, the villa itself is good. Has clean towels and blankets.
Regardless of these difficulties, I found the location very good (away from the city noise) and the temperature bit cooler than the city. The staff was very kind and always willing to help wherever possible.

The hotel has arranged an auto driver and it was a great help for us and he provided us enough details on each placed which was a great information for us. The hotel is far from the centre and it's hard to access unless you are driving yourself. But the rooms are very nice. The staff is very friendly and food is good.
The bed is very comfortable for a couple with 2 kids. The water heater is a bit slow, takes about 20 minutes to heat. The rooms look heavily renovated, which is a good thing.
I choose the cheapest room (deluxe room with no view) which turned out good. It was too cold to sit in the balcony anyway. And the lawn is open , so you can sit there in case you want to enjoy the view/vold.The rooms with balcony view look nice, the balconies look big, almost as big as the room itself.
They serve breakfast in the lawn in front, which I liked. The breakfast is typical south Indian and very good.
There are no heaters in the room, but you can order one. The flooring is wood and they have mats around the bed, so the room doesn't feel so cold.
The TV mostly have Tamil content with very few Hindi channels. No Telugu which was a bummer.

I was on 3 nights family vacation to Ooty and based on the reviews and rating, booked a Premium room in this hotel. The first experience was pleasant, reception staff was was courteous. Room was to our satisfaction spacious & good view. the linen was clean and adequate. There is no in-house restaurant which is a disadvantage but room service is available and is quite prompt. the Food served is affordable and the taste is excellent (we only had 2 meals at the hotel and the experience was good.The breakfast is served in the lawn and the winter sun felt great , the breakfast served is fresh, sufficient and taste is great. Would like to mention the F&B Manager (may be wrong with the Designation) Mr. Bala, whose customer service made us feel special and brought smile to our face. Thank You Delightz Inn Siddhartha Mandal

I was little sceptical of trying a different hangout in ooty when a friend suggested Delightz inn... having been to ooty at every opportunity possible & stuck to tried & tested options, I reluctantly agreed to try this place. The place is located on top of tiger hills, rather dead end of the hill. Not far away from center of ooty town, the place is close to town yet away due to the surroundings & views it offers. It is 5 min from the town & easily accessible. The property adjoins the woods & it's all green to one side. We could spot malabar giant squirrels in the middle of the day when we were standing outside the property. It also has beautiful backyard beyond which is a steep valley with a lake / old water storage area. Property also has a small lawn area in the front, perfect for small gathering, camp fire etc. Coming to most important aspect, particularly in post covid world - cleanliness. I felt they were spot on, Rooms, beds, bath... everything well maintained. Nothing to complain. Food is a bonus with quite an elaborate menu. Almost everything we tasted satisfied our taste buds. The service was slightly slow since they prepare everything fresh & anyways one would complain if the food is not hot & fresh in ooty weather. So, that's something I can overlook. I would definitely recommend this place for a laid back holiday with family or a chill out with friends. Staff was courteous & Mr. Bala , the supervisor is the driving force behind that delight we get. He was absolutely on his toes to ensure we always felt comfortable. All in all, good experience.. I highly recommend the place!

I love how minimalistic and clean they keep the place and the garden that gives a pleasant vibe . I totally adore the flowers there . The food was delicious especially all North Indian food was on point, rooms were very spacious and neat . Hot water comes up for 15-20 minutes and we would want to wait for sometime to get it heated , thats the only thing i felt otherwise everything was perfect . Staffs were super kind ❤️
