Not just great location, but great customer service. Special thanks to Vishal and Anil. I have felt safe at this place whether I had travelled with friends or family. If you are travelling as group of 4 or more take the suite and it works great with two bedrooms! But view from any room would be great because of how the place is constructed. I love this place as I get enjoy the chill december weather more fully. You should try their camp fire with barbecued food. Only improvement I would suggest is to change the mattresses into a non-spring one.

We visited this hotel during Xmas. The owner helped us a Lott, they gave us a bigger room for the first night, and loved the second room cause we had full view from the bed. he helped us refill our phones, they even helped us get kloser to the city when we were about to go on a trip and waited for the buss. During our stay the warm water heater broke down, but the staff ran with warm water buckets from the kitchen to everyone that wanted it. Very fast service and all were very kind. Raavi was very helpful, fast and had always a smile on his Lipps. The food was good and the breakfast buffet was okay.

I came here to celebrate my dog's birthday and for a family weekend getaway. Everything went really well. We were all really happiee by excellent service provided by the staff and things managed by Charles (The manager) Needless to say, the breathtaking view from the hotel (especially the early mornin view from the room) is just fantabulous. Food served was good too. To add on, Vishal (The owner) took initiative and took personal care of all of us, which was very nice of him 🙂 Humble, kind and utmost professionalism was maintained by all. It was indeed a lovely stay. This hotel is "Highly recommended" for people who are looking for a perfect getaway. This hotel deserves a 10 rating. Cheers.

The check in time was 12 noon, after traveling the whole night we reached at 10 am, the rooms were available, but Mr. Vishal from reception denied to allot us a room and asked for extra charge, I told him, if rooms are available you can give us as we are really tired he denied, and provided the room in front of us to someone else without any extra charge, and then later informed us, that no rooms are available now and the room that was allocated to us, is not vacant yet. I believe, being in hotel industry Mount n Mist management along with Mr. Vishal should understand the value of service, which is the core of any hospitality business. I will ensure not to revisit this place again and even would ask others not the go for this hotel. Highly disappointed, unhappy customer.

Ms.Faheema Quereshi, Thanks for your review . You seem to be educated but yet fail to understand the check in and check out time in hotels. I would like to correct a few things in your review and try to educate you a little more, You ended up at Mount n Mist around 9:00 AM and wanted to check in ,inspire of you knowing the check in time is 12:00 Noon. Yes rooms were available and the same was offered to you at an additional cost ,However your arrogant attitude and unmannered way of speaking made us realize you definitely do not belong in our place. Rooms were offered to other guests who were ready to pay the early check in charges and continue their rest of the day. Please be educated that when a room is provided early to the guest ,there is labour ,electricity ,water,breakfast included,It does not come for free. Ms.Faheema Quereshi ,we being in the hospitality industry understand the value of hospitality,But because of a very few arrogant discriminating lot like you ,we loose the opportunity to serve our best . Mount n Mist, The name exactly explains the hotel as it is. The hotel is surrounded by the beautiful mountains and has a en epic view right out the room. The Mist surrounds the place so many times arround the day it makes the stay very well worth it. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The host and the staff were very helpful and provided for our needs during our stay. In short I would say that the place is an ideal location for people who like the silence and like to enjoy the nature.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Staffs are courteous, picturesque view from the balcony/corridoor. Truly worth staying at this price. Enjoyed are hotel ambience and have spent quality time with Nature. The hotel is also child friendly. Hot water could be made available 24x7.

I am truly amazed and thankful to Charles and his staff for making our stay in Ooty such mesmerising. This was our visit after the lockdown and they make our each day delightful. Not only Charles, all the staff is polite and always there for any help required. After an 8 months of lockdown the most hit sector is the hotel industry. They have just open a couple of month and are trying their so best to help the travellers stay delightful despite some hitch which is expected as the hotel trying to get back on their full form. Their Chinese dishes are good. The travel desk for sightseeing and airport pickup/ drop are good and reasonable.
Thanks for all the support for making our stay wonderful. Keep up the good work.

I’ve been to mount n mist before in 2015 and that time I loved their service more than the beautiful location..and that’s why this time I didn’t think twice before booking .. but sad to say this.. their service and hospitality is not upto the mark that I have experienced before. I’m not saying it is bad but it is average only. They didn’t inform prior to our stay that breakfast will be served after 8.30. most of the tourists including us planned to go to Ooty early in the morning and when we had to wait more than a hour for breakfast we had to change our plans (the stay is around 15km away from main town). Also the breakfast served was average compared to our previous experience. I would like to suggest the resort authorities to make everything right again and improve your service . Also change the breakfast timing. No point in having breakfast after 8.30 if there is nothing to do in your property. Your price has gone up and hospitality has gone down. Make it better.

The resort is the foot hills of reserve forest mudumalli .
Room are very spacious and good . People working here are good . And courteous.
Some suggestion
1) room need to be replenished with creamer , tea and coffee sachets daily we don’t need ask for it .
2) flys in the restaurant is a no no .

Lovely stay for a weekend getaway with friends. The staff are super helpful and the host is friendly. The location is the highlight of the place as it overlooks the breathtaking hill slopes of Kalhatti. Worth a second and third visit.
