My family recently stayed at the Willow Hill Ooty Resort, and we had a wonderful experience. Our room had a beautiful view of the Avalanche Dam, and the large TV with multiple streaming services was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring.
Inside the resort everything is in pristine condition. We loved the modern cabin touch, along with the few hints of vintage style, such as the vintage telephone. The staff was very friendly and approachable, and we were able to order custom meals and even meet the chef.
We were amazed by the extent to which the resort went to ensure our safety and hygiene. All of the staff were wearing gloves, and the resort was regularly disinfected. Despite all of this, the resort still felt like a relaxing and peaceful oasis.
The location of the resort is also perfect. It is within walking distance of downtown Ooty, but it is also secluded enough to feel like a getaway. We would definitely recommend the Willow Hill Ooty Resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation.

I will always fondly remember the personal and courteous service from the polite staff at Willow Hill. Mr. Laxminarayanan, a true hospitality industry professional, met us on arrival and handled our check-in. His presence at the main desk was re-assuring throughout our stay. Willow Hills appears to be a recently built property. Therefore all facilities were new and in working order. Everything worked perfectly, including the internet, telephone, electricity, plumbing, elevators etc. (Ooty has number of 'heritage hotels' with woefully inadequate service facilities which has ruined many a short stays). We drove to Ooty in our car and the hotel provided spacious parking facility. We were assigned the Cypress Room, which had the view of the mountains and the green valley, that was both pleasing and invigorating. The spacious interiors of our room was tastefully fitted out. The large king size bed had comfortable mattress and pillows. The black-out curtains on the large window were greatly appreciated. The hotel included breakfast and dinner along with cost of accommodations. This was a welcome gesture on their part. The quality of dining offered at the 'Bird of Paradise' restaurant with excellent, with high marks for service and quality to their Chef, Mr. Joyce. I found him and his staff to be hardworking and keenly interested in delivering excellent quality to the guests.

This was an incredible resort and we loved the private sit-out option in our Eucalyptus room. Cleanliness gets a perfect 100%. The bathrooms had excellent showers with nonstop hot water supply. The staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout the stay. One person (I didn't ask his name, he didn't speak Tamizh) who served to our room was always smiling and very respectful. Staff in the restaurant were very kind too. Every dish we ate was tasty, well prepared and presented. Delivered quickly. This was the only place I had visited that had Netflix, Prime, and Hotstar available. As our plan was to mostly stay and relax rather than sight seeing, we appreciated this a lot. Overall, the service here was the best I've seen at any resort/hotel. As someone who is conscious about the Earth, I appreciate Willow Hill's emphasis on sustainability in their amenities. The location was away from the crowd, and the only sounds were birds chirping. I could not ask for anything better. This is one place where "visit again" actually makes meaning. And we will surely go back.
A few things we chose to overlook while we were there, but need their attention: 1. the phone in our room had a high-pitched noise whenever I called. 2. Morning coffee orders took too long for some reason. 3. lift or ramp facility for the lower-level rooms could have been good (for senior people).

We had one of the best experiences at Willow Hill, in fact way better than we had expected since there were less reviews about the property, it being recently taken over by Nature resorts in Mid 2023. From the time we reached the property till the time we left everything was spot on and we were made to feel special as a guest with each interaction. The Manager Mr Laxmi welcomed us right at the parking itself, which is the highest level of ownership and hospitality, he & the staff welcomed us at the reception desk and checked us in. Room and amenities were all spot on, neat and clean and had a great view overlooking the mountains and valley. The food was really delicious and Chef Murali and Mr Mohan from the kicthen served us delicacies, especially the Chritsmas dinner was a surprise for us with Plum cake & wine as we had booked dinner in our stay package. Even Le Cafe which is one of the most famous Cafes in Ooty is just 1.5 km from the property. Special mention to Mr Naveen from the restaurant team, Mr Bharani from the service team and Mr Rishi from the housekeeping team. Overall a memorable stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful yet accessible place to stay in Ooty.

The hotel, the room, the staff and the scenic location are all a perfect score from me. One cannot ask for more. We found the property very well maintained and clean, their staff were very courteous and always served with a smile, and their chef and kitchen staff did a great job in churning out delicious meals.

This is a fabulous property. Absolutely stunning! Boutique little place, in an apt location, with staff so warm, humble, kind and hospitable! They go out of their way to deliver excellent service! The approach to the proper is smooth, the views from the room are gorgeous, the interiors are neat and classy…everything is just so perfect!
This hotel is close by to almost sightseeing spots and a quick journey away from Coonor, incase you plan to visit that zone. The food is yumm and the breakfast spread is a la carte/ customised as per your choice.
I loved everything about the property but what stayed with me the most is the exceptional service of their staff. They are available at every point you ask of them..they make almost everything available for you, promptly- be it for heaters, cutlery, room service, etc. They’ll get it for you! They make you feel special! I’d like to call out the manager- Mr. Laxmi Narayan, who is the best manager and has trained his staff so well..

Situated on the hill, all the rooms have wide windows. All staff members were thoroughly trained in hospitality and their professionalism reflects in every aspect of their behavior. The rooms were aesthetically furnished, neat, and premium. The property is well maintained. The food was amazing, the complimentary dinner and breakfast were simply superb! One can make out the owner has put in a lot of thought and effort to furnish the insides! Overall, this is a great stay, within a few kms from the city centre and still got a good view and classy accommodation.
The stay was pleasant throughout without even a single terrible incident.

We're in love with this place and reminisce about our little two nights stay every day since coming back. Pretty much every aspect about the property was top class - like courteous staff, exceptional food, amazing rooms and gorgeous gardens.
The attention to detail is evident once you're in the property and everything is simply of a high quality. E.g. The beds and linen are huge and comfortable. The bathroom fittings are superb with a great hot shower. The rooms have 55 inch Samsung smart TV'S with free Netflix and other OTTs apart from Tata Play channels. This is completely unheard of and really amazing.
The service is top quality and the high quality training of the staff is evident. Mr Laxminarayan who was the property manager is a very helpful and kind-hearted person. He helped us with everything that we asked for and was always smiling. We were served by Barani and he was also fantastic and polite. The restaurant was a revelation for us served by Mr Martin who was always willing to satisfy our food cravings.
We need to mention the food specially because it is downright exceptional. We had a package that included breakfast and dinner and the number of options as well as the quality of the food and the beautiful presentation would give any gourmet 5 star restaurant a run for their money.

Beautiful, peaceful and calm location, with wood themed rooms. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Apart from the breakfast, we also had a delicious lunch at their in house restaurant. Due to its quiet location, it may be difficult to find transport but the front desk will help arrange for it when required. Overall, a relaxing stay to compliment Ooty's charm.
