The rating would have been very good only if they were not under renovation when we stayed there. Location: Located a little inside the place is away from all the noise of the city. The property is not too big, but is well maintained. Rooms : There are different types of rooms in the hotel, some have a view of... More

Kings cliff is one of the most British style hotel in ooty. The time I spend there were my best times with my friends. There are lot of dishes to try out. I quite enjoyed every dishes I tried out. Especially go for deserts. I really enjoyed my stay. Go for it.

We would like to clarify this review. Yes the renovation work at Kings cliff did not get completed(due to unseasonal rains) in time and we are extremely sorry for the same .However the room assigned to the guest was of the same deluxe category as they had booked .Only difference is that this came with a sitout instead of a... I visited this hotel in 2013. I came to know of this hotel from one of my colleagues. The first look of it is like a modified mansion house. Entrance is very small. But don't be deceived, The rooms are very large. The first look of the rooms give you a feel of some old royal architectures. Feels like you... More

KIngs Cliff is a good stay option in Ooty. Its best you have your own transport to go back and forth to the hotel and your sightseeing. Its located in the city centre and many tourist places are close by. The food is good and rooms are neat and well maintained. The staff are courteous.
