EXTREMELY close to the Taj (maybe a few minutes walk) - excellent place if you plan on staying a night or two with visiting the Taj as the main activity. The rooftop patio served drinks (including alcoholic) & food with an amazing view of...More
We stayed one night at Sai Palace hotel.
The hotel is very basic, with no hot water showers. Fan room was fine in the summer.

I agree with Ananjan, the best view is from the rooftop restaurant, so you could stay in any room here. My wife and I stayed in the superior room and because it is on the roof it was very hot and we couldn't open the window because then everyone at the rooftop restaurant could see us! Hope this helps.
