Hotel Buddha has earned a reputation for its serene atmosphere and clean, spacious rooms that provide a tranquil haven for guests. Reviewers commonly commend the hotel for its comfortable accommodations and comprehensive amenities, which include a travel desk and on-site restaurant. While the ganga arthi experience is a highlight for many, the responsive and courteous staff also garner praise for their exceptional service and efficient tour arrangements. However, a note of caution is advised regarding potential last-minute price changes for boat services.

Our trip to Varanasi was comfortable and enjoyable due to the services provided by Hotel Buddha, and in particular by their travel desk manager, Rajesh, who gave excellent service and guidance. He was our one point contact practically for every thing we needed in Varanasi. I was in touch with him two months before the date of our trip to book hotel rooms, arranging our transport etc. He was always courteous and prompt and addressed all my requirements. A big thanks to him. Hotel Buddha has well appointed AC rooms, lift, parking space etc, and is not far from Kadi Viswanath temple. It would be nicer if they start their restaurant. But this is not a big problem as good restaurant like Annapoorna are close by, snd the restaurant has delivery service too.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Buddha. Hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and responded well to all of our questions and concerns. The phone number listed on expedia for the hotel didnt quite go through. However, I was able to reach the hotel staff to arrange for airport pick up by going to their website and using the whatsapp feature. As soon I left a message on whatsapp, the staff asked us about the travel details and gave a number of the driver to pick up. The pricing was very reasonable for the hotel arranged pickup, which you can pay the hotel directly. It would be best if the hotel leaves a detailed instructions on how to reach the hotel from international phone numbers.

This was our first time at Varanasi and we were there to perform a specific ceremony. We didnt know much on how to navigate and arrange for priest etc at the ghats. We mentioned that to the hotel staff upon arrival and they connected us to their guide Vicky Gaid. Vicky was super courteous and respectful. He understood what we were looking for quickly and provided us inputs on how to perform the ceremony and suggested places to visit during our stay. Next day morning, he guided us from the morning till late night and stayed with us every moment and making sure we are not getting lost in the streets and the crowd. Having him with us make the entire stay a pleasant experience and we also were able to taste some local delicacies, while he was explaining the history and the background of the food. He is a proud & true local who knows the entire place in and out without a doubt. I would definitely recommend as a guide to any one. I am very happy we have Vicky with us.

If we were to come to Varanasi again, I would certainly stay at Hotel Buddha and ask for Vicky as our guide.

The stay was comfortable. Rooms are good. The staff is quite responsive and humble. The hotel can arrange for your tours in and around Kashi on chargeable basis. One can have their own itinerary. Accordingly the hotel tour desk shall arrange.

My family felt very comfortable at Hotel Buddha . Rooms were very clean , spacious and an amazing air condition to cool ourselves from the Varanasi summer . Bathrooms were wonderfully clean . We ordered food from nearby restaurant to the room , All south Indian food is available . Snacks at the hotel were very tasty .
The best thing of our trip was our wonderful guide Mr Raju . He is an amazing person who ensures to give the best of Varanasi experience . He got us through all temples (busy) via shortcuts , ensured we dont fall prey to fake priests . He is so professional , that he gave precedence to his profession over his birthday . He made sure that my family gets an amazing ganga aarti view and only after 7:30 pm when he dropped us off at the hotel he went back home to celebrate his birthday . I can recommend him to everyone in my family and circle who visits Varanasi .

Rooms are okay.Toiletries average. Post-lockdown kitchen is still not functional (but one of the best Varanasi restaurants (for vegetarians) Sree Annapurna is at walking distance). They don't give even a single bottle of mineral water on check-in and give you RO water in a jug. Hotel is located in a narrow lane and has parking space for 8-10 cars but with cars parked in the lane getting to the hotel parking can sometimes be an issue. It looks like a large house converted into a hotel and some rooms have a balcony but due to a lot of monkeys in the area it is better to keep the door closed.
The uncle at the front desk (perhaps the owner) is not very friendly but overall the hotel is okay and value for money.

Hotel Buddha is one of the best hotels in holy pilgrimage city Varanasi located on main road. Heritage hotel with well-maintained and comfortable rooms. Easy walking distance to the main market of city. Restaurant inside hotel and I really like here all food and services. Travel desk also in hotel and provide best package. Thank you Mr. Krishna for your kindness and for looking after me so well. It felt like coming home.

I stayed for 5 nights in Varanasi with my family. The hotel Buddha was not only affordable but safe & clean. The staff specifically Mr. Gyanendra who manages the front desk & hotel bookings was very helpful during my overall stay.

The food is also good & service provided was very satisfying. I recommend everyone visiting Varanasi to try to stay in this peaceful yet conviniently located hotel.

The staff goes extra mile to make sure you are comfortable during your entire stay & also helps in booking local transport in affordable rate.

Thanks again to entire staff of hotel Buddha🙏🙏😊😊

The dirtiest and ugliest hotel we stayed in during our one month trip to India.

Extremely dirty and unsanitary, we had a standard room on the top floor. Dirty smelly blankets without bedding, dirty walls, low water pressure, no hot water, bathroom without shampoo, soap, towels and toilet paper, full of mosquitoes, unhygienic breakfast with limited items, broken electric kettle, dirty glass, broken TV. Outside noise from early morning until late midnight, not room cleaning in three days, abandoned roofto full of garbage,

None of the hotel photos are real, they are all retouched or taken at the opening of the hotel
And all this at an incredibly high price for what it offers you.

It is better to spend the night on the street or in the trash can, the only difference is that you don't pay

It is not on the main road but the approach road is good. Once you reach there, you will appreciate everything there. You may arrange your own vehicle to reach there from the airport.

Actually yes, there is one on the roof too. I was there for Holi Festival so most were closed. I was the only one sitting on the roof.
