I booked an Artistic room as the name caught my attention at the time of booking. To my sweet surprise it was exactly what I was expecting, the 18000 per night tarrif seemed high at the beginning but turned out to be worth every penny paid. The room opens in the courtyard and lush green jamun tree was soothing view to eyes. My kid enjoyed the bathtub in the room, the room size is almost 400sqft. We stayed there for 3 days , the breakfast is not to be missed and they serve one of the best Coffey in whole Varanasi I can bet. The location is centre of Varanasi and you will not face any hassle in terms of conveyance and connectivity.

Stay Banaras was a pleasurable experience while I was in Varanasi during the 1st week of August. It provided the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate after a hectic day exploring the city. The bed was comfortable, the washroom was clean and we took tbe room with the bath tub to make the stay even unforgettable.

We booked a two-night stay and got a pretty decent deal—pro tip: book directly to snag a 15-20% discount! We had two rooms, one double and one triple with a bunk bed. The double room was spacious with a washroom big enough to do a little dance (not that we tried…or maybe we did!). The triple room was nice too, though it did greet us with a musty smell, which was promptly handled by the staff.
The room amenities were solid, but we had a bit of a workout with the TV since the remote was broken—manual channel surfing, anyone? And the telephone... it's strategically placed under the TV, so you get a few extra steps in every time you need to make a call. On the plus side, the hotel team was just a WhatsApp message away, making it easy to sort out any issues.
Now, let’s talk food—fantastic! The breakfast was a highlight, and Rakhi’s service, always delivered with a smile, made our mornings brighter. However, we wish we’d been warned about the ongoing construction noise—it turned our afternoon nap time into a bit of a challenge.
Despite the occasional hammering, the central location, helpful staff, and delicious food made our stay enjoyable. Just a little more honesty about the construction noise, and it’d be near perfect!

Hi Aditya! Thank you for taking the time to post such a detailed review of our property! We are pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay with us! However we are extremely sorry about your experience regarding the construction noise! Our hotel is undergoing renovations hence the noise. Though we make it a point to inform our guests at the time of booking, our team member at the reception must have missed telling you! We apologise for the same and hope you will forgive us! On a lighter note, we hope you enjoyed your dance in the washroom!!! We would love to welcome you back in the near future! So come back and see us soon!

My mother and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Varanasi this May, with nothing planned in advance and no hotel bookings. After searching several sites and finding most places fully booked, we stumbled upon this charming little hotel, and I couldn't have been more thrilled.
At the reception, we were warmly greeted with a sweet smile, and the person there was incredibly helpful in providing information about the prices. Our stay was nothing short of delightful. We stayed for 2-3 days, and the staff was always available to answer our calls and offer various services. The food was absolutely delicious, adding to our overall experience.
If you're planning a short trip to Varanasi, I highly recommend this place. It's nice, comfortable, and perfectly suitable in terms of affordability. The warm hospitality and excellent services made our stay truly memorable.

I recently stayed at Stay Banaras in Banaras, and I got to experience the recently done Maharaja room and what an incredible experience it was!!! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that made the place feel like a home away from home. The staff were exceptionally friendly, always ready to help, and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.
The location is perfect – close to all the main attractions but still tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. My room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The food was fantastic too; I especially loved the Grilled Chicken.
On the down side parking could be a challenge as its on road but overall, Stay Banaras is a hidden gem in Banaras. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy, authentic experience with excellent service. I'll definitely be returning!"

My family and I had a great stay at 'Stay Banaras.' We booked our accommodation directly with the hotel, and the payment was made online, which was very convenient. The hotel staff, particularly Rohit and Rahul, are very polite and helpful, and go out of their way to accommodate your requests. I personally loved the food - they have a range of cuisines, and are reasonably priced. The hotel is also centrally located, and in a quieter part of the city, which was a huge advantage. The staff was also very helpful in organizing cabs for our trips to the airport, and e rickshaws for local sightseeing. The only drawback - our triple room was a little small, and so we felt a little cramped. However, staff attitude, great food, cleanliness, and the hotel location more than made up for it.

There’s construction work going on first floor till 5’o clock in eve so avoid it for another month or so. When reported to duty manager, merely acknowledged without giving any repercussions!! It’s half n hour away by Tuktuk to most of tourist attractions, Uber is terrible in this area as most won’t come this side of city. Night staff at reception plays loud videos on mobile so staying at first floor rooms is nothing short of nightmare.

I booked stay banaras by chance while scrolling through the hotel options in banaras and it came as a treat for my girl gang.
We stayed in a deluxe room which had a twin bed on the second floor , the room was next to the floor balcony opening the courtyard .
We were served a fruit plate on arrival and there was a snack basket in the room complimentary which has wafers biscuit and namkeen. This was actually a nice gesture . They also have a complimentary perfume on check out , full on customer pampering which clearly shows how passionately they run this place
There was a tea kettle in the room which had pre mix tea and normal tea and coffee pouches
Breakfast was amazing with Indian continental both veg and non veg
At dinner we had soya malai chaap and paneer lababdar which was awesome , they helped us with the city itinerary , and booked a guide for us .
They had a restaurant Dakshin Kashi near vishwanath temple gate 4 , we kept our belonging there and the restaurant manager helped us to facilitate darshan with a pandit ji.
All together a great experience at a boutique hotel like stay banaras was truly cherishing

Clean, functional rooms. Very idyllic setting. Bathrooms are small but clean and have all basic amenities. The hotel location itself is ok, it’s about 2 kms away from the Ganga river but finding e-rickshaws to all places is quite easy. Staff is courteous and attentive, the hotel would provide free water bottles to your room. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit Benares during rains/monsoon - the river level is high and swallows up most of the ghat area. So the space available gets crowded easily.

They had a couple of cereals, some toast, everyday a couple of curry’s and Indian breads and they would make you some fresh eggs /omelette plus there was juices, teas , coffee.
