Very welcoming family! Lovely to be able to use the kitchen whenever we wanted to. Room was spacious and excellent for the price we paid. Things to be aware of: -It is a guest house so there are kids running around but this did not bother us at all and there was never noise in the night. -we were in...

Had a friend recommend this place. Overall a nice experience for 2 nights stay. No-frills, you get what you pay for. Nice clean room, would stay again. Positives: - Close to Assi ghat, walking distance to many other things - I had a big room with a huge double bed that was nice and clean - The owner Deepak is...

A really nice budget accommodation where the owners have made an effort to give it atmosphere and there is much more than just a bed, I can understand why people stay here for a long time because of this, a reasonably good equipped kitchen, clean and bright

15/12/2014 to 21/12/2014 Slightly overpriced for what it is. We booked a room with en-suite and a/c for Rs14,000 – generally clean but slightly worn, probably more in the Rs8,000 to 10,000 range. Shared kitchen available for simple meals although don’t expect to cook too much as the facilities are limited and utensils well worn. The main problem with Khushi...

Excellent location, near the river and the ancient Lolarka Kund. Family-run, and constantly being kept clean. I especially appreciated the well set-up kitchen for the use of the guests (stove, pots, sink, refrigerator, etc.), and the bright and airy dining/relaxing space.

Located near Assi Ghat - the map on the website is useless and Google has the location totally wrong. Head north along Pandit Manmohan Malviya Road from the main Assi Ghat Road junction and pass the Imperial Public School on your right (white walls, yellow gates). Look for a white classical style building with columns further along on your left,...

Only stayed here for 1 night, but was lucky to celebrate the birthday of one of the sons. Was invited for the cake and dinner. Lovely people and a good accomodation. Only downside, no toiletpaper and had to go buy it myself.

I stayed here for four months, it's a great place for students/volunteers/researchers to live. It is in an excellent location a short walk from Assi Ghat, and there's a great rooftop with a view of the city. The family who lives here are very nice, and they offer cheap and delicious meals. The accommodations are basic but it's cheap and...

I am very lucky that someone recommended Khushi to me. I was desperately trying to get off the well-trodden tourist path and this was a comfortable place that allowed me to have my privacy while also staying in such close proximity to Indian families that I felt I got a much better insight into Indian culture than I would have...

Khushi inn was cheap at only 500RPS/night and the room was spartan but clean. It is very quiet and the owner is French and very pleasant. The shower head did not work, nor did the hot water and the Wifi was sporadic at best. Definitely value for money spent. If you are looking for a cheap place without all the...
