Really everything perfect! The rooms are spacious and spotless, complete with every comfort (fridge, wardrobe, table, different types of lights, air conditioning and ceiling fan). The bathroom is way above Indian standards, a dream! Shower with wall, very powerful water jet and hot water always available.
The location is also great. A 15 minute tuk tuk ride (one ride 100 rupees = €1) from the old city is an excellent refuge from chaotic Varanasi. Even if it faces a busy street, it offers silent rooms completely isolated from the outside.
The staff and Siddarth, the owner, are super helpful and ready to provide all the advice you need to fully enjoy this wonderful city: where to eat, which places to visit, what to pay attention to, etc.
They also helped us book the train for the next stop, without any commission. Very professional and at the same time welcoming and warm.
The service is nothing short of excellent and, as if that wasn't enough, this happy oasis also includes an excellent restaurant which offers, among other things, the best rose lassi I've ever tried in India!
All meals can be consumed in the designated room, outside or directly in the room. They are also finishing the terrace above which we are sure will be a fairytale, like everything else.
P.s. we toured a nice piece of India, Varanasi is among the most difficult cities when it comes to accommodation. Unfortunately, there are also many scams on Booking. Sugar Star offers safety and quality. They literally saved us from a very unpleasant stay in this beautiful sacred city.

Spacious, quiet, very very clean room. Perfect air conditioning and very comfortable bed.
The best Hotel in India after 15 days of travel. Fantastic breakfast in the room. The staff helped us with everything.
We had a problem with the phone card
Indiana and they fixed it without asking us anything.
They negotiated the prices for us with the tuk tuks so as not to have to pay high prices (in 10 minutes you are at the main gates). They were very kind on the day of departure, allowing us to shower in the room the afternoon before leaving for the airport. If you pass through Varanasi you should stay here! If, like me, you are a wheelchair user, this is your hotel in Varanasi without a doubt!! They helped me at all times to visit ghats, temples, as well as different activities such as a boat tour on the Ganges both at sunrise and sunset to see the ceremonies, negotiate tuktuks, exchange currency, where to buy fabrics, etc.,
The rooms are spacious and the entire hotel has been recently renovated, including a small refrigerator, which we greatly appreciated.
The quality and variety of breakfast options are very good, served in your bedroom at the time you request.
Right next to the hotel there is a food track with South Indian food with a very good quality/price. Super recommended for dinner after a long day of activities!!

If you are planning to visit Varanasi, I have two certainties to share. The first is that this city lacks landmarks and it is easy to get lost. The second is that staying in the Sugar Stars Inn Hotel can be a salvation. The staff is extremely kind, always ready to solve any problem and to suggest itineraries, restaurants, shops, everything one might need to orient themselves in this complicated city. The structure is well looked after, the rooms are comfortable and clean. It is slightly outside the famous Ghats, but this guarantees a minimum of tranquility (again considering Indian standards). However, all the main attractions of the city are easily reachable thanks to the inevitable Tuk-tuks, with whom the owners are happy to negotiate so as not to increase transport prices. Right below the structure, there is a characteristic truck-restaurant, which offers typical dishes with excellent flavour. Breakfast is served in your room. In short, everything is fine.

The rooms are clean and the bathroom is top notch. The staff is very courteous and helpful. When we checked in, the receptionist explained the exact sightseeing highlights and food options (especially important for Europeans) and also the taxi rates that we should not exceed. That was a very helpful tip. You can also book an airport transfer directly through the hotel - very convenient.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We stayed three nights, although originally we were only going to stay one, but when our flights were cancelled we had to extend our stay. Despite not having booked in advance, the staff made no inconvenience and was very flexible and very attentive, greetings to Aj.
Breakfast, included in the price, was excellent, with abundant options. We ordered tortillas with bread, chocolate pancakes and a variety of fruits. A real hotel wonder: super clean and with a team attentive to every detail. Although dinner was not included, we always dined there as the quality was exceptional.
In addition, the hotel arranged our transfer from the airport and arranged a boat trip through Varanasi to see the sunrise for 1800 rupees. In short, highly recommended; it was an excellent experience in all aspects.

The owner and staff were super polite, very helpful and friendly. From taxi to boat everything was arranged by the hotel at affordable price .

The owner helped us with all the enquires we’ve had. He is really sweet. He gave us perfect guidance and best tips on where all we should go and discover Varanasi. He advised great restaurants in the city and helped to arrange the train to our next stop. We had a wonderful time in Varanasi With the help of him.
The room was good size,neat and very clean.
Bed was large and comfortable. The shower had hot water throughout the day. Wifi was good.
The location is in a very accessible area, and only a short(about 10-15 mins) ride from all major temples, other tourist spots and restaurants. You feel safe.

Our stay at this hotel has been amazing! The staff are so attentive and helpful from the minute you arrive. The rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally clean. Every little detail of each room, has clearly had a lot of thought and care put into it!
The hotel is in a safe and central location with only a short ride to the attractions, tourist spots and restaurants. But the hotels restaurant next door, Punjab di truck offers incredible food at such an affordable price, so there's no need to venture too far!

Worst experience .Hotel run by bunch of cheats. Booked thru an agent and when checked room was way overpriced than online portals. For the price paid, it was such a crappy ordinary room. First water started leaking from AC and then AC stopped working. No food lounge, just a room in front elevator for serving some crappy food. Also the front desk guy Rudran is a con artist. He promised special services in temple and exclusive Ganga boat rides ,charged exuberant amounts for this just to find out that the price was much cheaper had I directly booked there. Also we hired car from hotel for 3 days and were charged 20k but the car was not available until day 2. Overall it was a pain and worst experience. Stay out
