We recently stayed at Om Villas Benaras as a group of eight members for 2 days in July 2024. From the moment we arrived, we were treated exceptionally well by the reception team, including Ritika, Abhishek, Vishal, and Vivek. A special mention goes to the pandit who welcomed us with a tika and rudraksha, adding a pleasant traditional touch to our arrival.
The support staff took us on a beautiful buggy ride to our luxurious tent house. Though we missed some names, their assistance was much appreciated. The cleaning staff, including Jitendra, Kanno, Jiyia, and Kamlesh Kumar, did an excellent job in maintaining the facility, ensuring it was always spotless and comfortable.
Our package included breakfast and dinner, and we enjoyed three buffet meals during our stay. The food quality was outstanding, earning a 5-star rating. The staff service and ambience also impressed us, each deserving a solid 4-star rating.
We are particularly grateful to Mr. Ajay Yadav, the manager, who took special care to ensure our stay was memorable. Additional thanks to Ajay, Shivam, and Omprakash for their exceptional service.
Overall, our experience at Om Villas Benaras was delightful, thanks to the entire team's efforts. It's impossible to mention everyone by name, but please know that your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. We are grateful for the wonderful hospitality and look forward to visiting again.

I booked this resort during the Kumbh season in Varanasi, so I expected a surcharge, but the experience was far from satisfactory. The place is more of a wedding venue than a proper resort. While the service was decent, the overall hospitality was disappointing.
A day before check-in, I received a call asking us to arrive between 12-2 PM. We reached around 1 PM, yet we had to wait for 1.5 hours to get our room keys, finally checking in around 2:30 PM—a frustrating start to our stay.
Food & Hygiene:
The food was really disappointing. The breakfast spread was very average, and we had booked a meal package, which turned out to be a big mistake. The buffet food was so unappetizing that we ate just to avoid getting hungry at midnight. Their Ă la carte menu was slightly better, but overall, the food quality did not match the prices they charge.
Hygiene was another issue—the table mats had dry food stains, and utensils were placed on top of them without proper cleaning. A clear example of poor training: I ordered a sunny-side-up egg and received two half-fried eggs instead. These small details reflect a lack of proper service training.
Facilities & Experience:
The rooms had no TV, and with the swimming pool locked, there was barely anything to do during our staycation. This was supposed to be a relaxing getaway, but it felt like a dull and overpriced experience.
One positive note—I spoke to a few employees, and many of them live nearby. It’s good to see this property generating local employment. However, the management seriously needs to invest in training sessions so that the staff can deliver a service that aligns with the premium pricing.

Tents with basic missing. Luxury camps has a decent bed and that's it. Not doors to the room for safety. No doors to bathroom. Just a zipper. The length of zipper is below the flooring of bathroom so you might be able to close the zipper from the room but not from inside rhe bathroom. What kind of privacy does it provide. For a hefty price of 9.5 k per night this is an expensive affair. No TV in the room. No ear buds provided. When asked for ear buds they send cotton to the room. Not enough charging points in the room. Location of the property is also not that great. Only good part is landscape and cottages look good. Skip the so called Luxury camp, there is nothing luxury about it.

Beautiful royal cottages that are spacious clean and nothing like I have experienced before! Their restaurant Mechaan is their multi cuisine restaurant with very tasty and hygienic food, everything we ordered was delicious. The staff makes you feel at home and the whole property is lovely to walk around or drive in their colourful vintage golf carts!

Hello everyone I would like to give my honest review for Om Vilas that I visited with my family on 16 and 17th of September. This is one of its kind place in varanasi that anyone would like to visit again and again. I found everything good about this property like - luxurious hygienic vilas, tent, with all aminites, lush green garden, ultra clean swimming pool, play ground equipments in open area and mouth watering delicious food that is served in their restaurant.
Coming to services - you will be welcomed at entry gate of Om Vilas by their well mannered staff that will take you to the reception for checkin.Then you will be driven by their golf carts to your villa. Room service is very quick and staff understands the need of visiters specially who come with family having kids.
