Pros - 1. Location near Assi ghat (3 min walking distance) 2. Spacious and clean rooms - Rooms on 3rd floor i.e. Suite rooms are quite spacious compared to 2nd floor rooms i.e. Premium Deluxe rooms 3. Staff is exceptionally polite and attentive 4. Service is also good except that of food services which takes too much time to prepare and serve 5. Provides good and reasonable price for car services as well as private boat rides 6. The staff takes care to carry the luggages all the way to the room
Cons - 1. No lift as of November 2024 (lift is being installed and will take some time) 2. No insect repellant or protective measures to counter the insects and flies which are found this time of the year across North India 3. Food service is quite slow and taste is average; price is also onvthe higher side 4. Their complimentary breakfast is deceptive as one is allowed to take limited amount of items and quantities 5. No view of Ganga river or Assi ghat from rooms - only negligible views from 3rd floor rooms
We stayed there for 2 nights during Diwali and almost all shops/restaurants remained closed due to Diwali. So had to consume their food for most of the time. They do not allow non-veg and alcohol consumption in their premises and also customised the menu items to take care of our demand for no onion no garlic food

We were there for breakfast after the morning Arti at the Assi Ghat. A good breakfast stop option. We had selected items from the buffet. We'll cooked. The restroom was clean and dry.

Unplanned trip of a week at Varanasi was memorable coz of pleasant stay at Kashi Residency. The staff here was very cooperative, hotel was very well maintained, and sweet smile on their faces makes you feel so welcome. Location is perfect, since Assi ghat is few steps away, ganga aarti is daily sight and food and transportation is never a problem. I would highly recommend to stay here and love to come here with my family and friends soon.

The location of the hotel is excellent 1 min walking from the Assi Ghat of Benaras where one can get the real flavour of the Spiritual Capital of India. The Staffs are nice and cordial. Nice food. If anyone wants to have a nice dinner with his of her loved ones he or she will also have ample options of very good restaurants with authentic north Indian foods in the close vicinity of the Property. Morning Yoga Class and evening Ganga arti at Assi Ghat will enhance your stay at Kasi Recidency.

The staff of Kashi Residency not only provided excellent service as regards the room and other amenities; they went out of their way to help us in times of need. The Hotel staff were absolutely amazing in helping us with the smallest of details including tours (by car and boat) around Varanasi. The location of the hotel is excellent with a beautiful old temple within its premise. Its location on the Assi Ghat is also of great advantage. Continental cafes can be seen lined alongside old Varanasi chat bhandars. All-in-all, a wonderful place in Varanasi!

We stayed for 3 nights in month of JAN 2024 Our experience as follows -
Location -Perfect location very close to Assi Ghat ,you can reach to Assi ghat in 5min walking. Surrounding of hotel is very calm and beautiful a small Hanumanji temple in the premises. Lot of E-Ricksha are available in 3mins walk to travel near main temple or areas around.
Rooms-Ample size of rooms with all amenities, AC, TV, Tea, kettle and 2 mid size water bottles are given every day .Bed is big with soft matters (bonnell spring )Big mirror to get ready .As we went in mid of very cold weather we heater in room was a great help to keep rooms warm. *We stayed on ground floor rooms*
Bathroom -Clean ,good size but fittings can be better. Shampoo and Bath soap is given. Hot water is available 24hrs.
Food-Lot of food options available on walking able distance. Hotel have own restaurant but we never tried that as we were going out all of the time.
Overall -A very good budget friendly option for travelers who wants to stay close to ghat but need calm stay.

This hotel is Nearest to assi Ghat where atmosphere ,ambience is brilliant . We have also observed Indian classical music ,rich in indian culture.
Efforts done by Mr Aayush gopi basnet is worth mentionable.

The booking was done over on phone with Mr. Gopi Ayush Basnet and he had made all the necessary arrangements for making the arrival to the time of departure very simple and convenient. I was with my friends and we were able to complete all the necessary formalities with out any problem after a tiring road journey. We recommend this Property for it's comforts and co-operative staff. My special thanks to Mr Gopi Ayush Basnet.Also this was my 2nd time stay in this Hotel. I was never disappointed as all my requirements were fulfilled by the Staff on Duty.The Chefs were very nice and the food was very good. If you ask about hospitality, it is real wonderful.One should visit at The Kashi Residency and must stay for getting full happiness and the most comfortable Hotel to stay in Varanasi

Kashi residency is a neat and clean property; close to Assi Ghaat and is having a very peaceful ambience. A beautiful Hanumanji Mandir too is in the hotel compound. The staff is pleasing and courteous. The food is homely and tasty. The owner, Mr. Ayush is a very humble and supportive person. He even arranged for us a taxi to go to Prayagraj and Vindhyachal Devi Darshans. Assi Ghaat, where the morning cultural programme (Subah-e-Banaras), morning and evening Gangaji Aarti is held, is very closeby. Overall an amazing stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The staff was professional. I booked it for 2 days but extended my stay for one more day by seeing their service. There was some technical glitch in the app on the very last day but was dealt very professionally by Mr. Gopi basnet and hence, saved us from the inconvenience. Helpful staff. Located at a very beautiful place, the hotel is clean and provides great hospitality. The staff is very helpful Every thing is available within in 200 meter ganga ghat..... Room is also good...... Very happy with the service they offered.very close to ghat Varanasi.
