This is the most amazing and beautiful little place hidden deep in the old quarters and with shops, snacks stands and all the magic of Varanasi around the corner. The rooms are great values and the owner is incredibly helpful and very read-up on Varanasi but also Rajasthan and mot questions you may have about India. We would return in a heartbeat and loved our stay here.

I was on a foot trip and stayed at Radha Krishna Home for 3 nights. I would move out of the place by 6AM and return in evening / night.
It is conveniently located at the dead end of a narrow lane leading up to the main Kashi Vishwanath temple. it is close to Gate no 3 entry point of the temple and prominent ghats like Dashaswamedh 9 for morning and evening arti) , Meer Ghat, Tripura Bhairavi ghat (nepali temple ghat) and Manikarnika ghat (cremation ghat). Rani bhavani gali is lined with good places to eat local stuff like kachori, sweets, malaiyo, hot milk, pan and south indian snacks.
Positives
1) The owner Mr Purohit is courteous and has good knowledge of the city
2) The place, being a family house, is spick and span with clean bathrooms
3) It gives you the experience of living in old lane home in banaras
4) You have access to wifi and a desktop computer in the living room
5) The owner arranges for meal /tiffins if you plan to live in the rooms for most part of the day.
Scope for improvement
1) There is an upgrade charge of Rs 100 per night if u wish to locate in a room with TV. I opted for it but found there are only a few channels active.
2) I was charged for a bottle of water the owner provided on first day. The place is a homestay I agree, but it should provide basic amenities like a bottle of water and a cake of soap to all visitors
3) No toiletries / towel was provided. The geyser in the bathroom fills around half a bucket with hot water before you have to shut the tap and restart after a few minutes
4) The plug points are placed high compared to a low bed, hence to charge your phone, you have to keep a plastic chair on the bed and rest the phones on the chair. otherwise the phones will keep dangling in air.
5) Since its a family house, it is appreciated if the guests return home before 10PM. If you are the types to enjoy a late night stroll or go for a night tour of city, this can be a hindrance.
6) No room has a window.. all have a small air-vent
Overall I am happy with the place and would recommend to backpackers and young folks travelling in groups or senior couples who wish to spend basic accommodation money.
At this price ( Rs 800 per day) it is a better bet than other similar homestays/ guesthouses in terms of safety and hygiene.

Spent here 10 days. Never regret of it - this is really wise choice to stay in Varanasi You'll get lots of interesting gossip stories and useful information from the owner. The place is really cool (it was less than 30C inside than main street was 37 or ever hotter). The dead end of the street makes the place hidden and silent and safe, and just 2 min of narrow street and you're on the main ghat.

I stayed a week in Radha Krishna Home and was very nice stay. The place is quiete and very clean. I felt very welcome and the lovely family especially the Dad did everything to make me comfortable. Being a woman alone he gave me advice and was very helpful. He was also worry when I have been sick or not back home early. (In a nice way not intrusive) he is very sweet. He treated me like a family member and I liked chating with him. I recommend the place and I 'll come back here if I come back to Benares.

Stayed here for two nights. The room was big and clean, had two fans and even a hook in the ceiling we could use for the mosquito net. Place is quiet and the water in the shower is hot, although the bed was a little too hard. Good WiFi and very friendly staff. Do recommend.

Very inhospitable owner who pretends to be very nice but of you don't give him more revenue , goes back on his own promises, property has no power backup but sells AC rooms even if it couldn't be used, poor hygiene, people spat in wash basin, owner expressed inability to clean quickly taking excuse of no cleaner, very damp and fungus infected non AC rooms, owner talks very rudely on his own promises if you don't book more

ガンジス川に近く、立地の良いゲストハウスです。部屋もホテルのようにはいきませんが、きれいにしてもらってありました。オーナーはとても親切で、話し相手にもなってくれました。また訪れたいです。 The guest house is near the Ganges River. The room was clean. The owner was really kind. I want to visit there again.

Nice place and owner Mr. Purohit, senior citizen is good gentleman and helpful. Though the place is in narrow lane it is quiet and peaceful. They can improve with providing toileteries and bath towels, drinking water etc. I recommend this place.

Rooms are average, location of the hotel is horrible. Pathway to reach the rooms are pathetic, I just can't forgot. I should have checked those details in the net before making the advance. Suggestion: check these before you drop in. Hospitality by the elderly person is good, he provides good information.
