What can I say? I arrived at this hotel with a group party, presently touring through India.
We were all made very welcome and, as a solo traveller within the group, I was always made to feel well looked after by the staff for the two nights we were here. Nothing was too much trouble for reception who were always willing to assist with any problems I had - how to access WiFi, print documents etc.
Room was spotless upon arrival and cleaned again during my stay with fresh towels and amenities being provided daily.
The main buffet restaurant was delightful. Staff were always on hand to explain the buffet selection and the serving areas were kept very clean too.
I would particularly like to single out Sandeep in the restaurant for praise as he would simply serve all my food to me at my table after he’d asked what I’d like. Thank you Sandeep - this was most welcome after a busy day exploring Varanasi.

This is an excellent property with good connection to all Benaras’s major landmarks, and Ghats, the fact that property is situated close to the highway acts as an easy get in getaway from the city. We stayed in this property during Kumbh Mela 2025, for 4 nights It’s well maintained, spacious, and has great facilities as well. Probably one of the best hotels in Varanasi. It was easy to commute between Tribeni Sangam, Prayagraj from this hotel, due its close proximity to the highway, Highly recommended 👍🏼

I visited Varanasi for the first time in India, so I don’t have much to compare it with, but as they say, this is one of the best hotels here. The rooms have 2 large towels and one small one, hair dryer, shower accessories, slippers, 4 bottles of water, safe, no robes and few hangers for clothes. Cleanliness is not great, but probably for these places it’s good)) Hot water runs properly. Nice buffet. It’s nice that you have oatmeal with milk, boiled eggs, they can prepare any omelet for you, in general, the usual Russian breakfast is available) I would like to note the caring staff in the restaurant, they came up to us and offered to try their different dishes, I would especially like to note Anand, a very caring young man :) the chef also came up to our group and asked for food suggestions.

I liked the Ramada hotel a lot and the room and location here were very nice for me, lobby area, big restaurant and car parking and everything was the best, every time I came or went there, I stayed in the Ramada, all the staff were very groomed, very thankful. Fantastic site and beatiful people. The hotel facilites are in a singular location, near to temples and also so close to quiet and relax location Andy also has a good partner for your stay at hotel. The dinner was super, the beberage are beatiful, the food increíble and the waiter hall a very confidable person. For break the attwntion is so exquisitez, the offer food is very extensive, i.e. there are european dishes, Indian dishes and even if you like to take a omelette, for instance you can order. I recommend It 100%.

We stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Katesar for two nights while visiting Varanasi, which is a few kilometers away. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well staffed. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous and tasty. Our package included breakfast but we also found the dinner menu delicious and reasonably priced. If you have a car and driver this is an excellent alternative to downtown Varanasi. We would be happy to stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 days! The service staff is extremely helpful, kind ans friendly! We did not have trouble going out and enjoying Banaras because, Binoy at the reception told us about all the good spots and hooked us up with a local rickshaw wala who took us everywhere and made sure we weren't getting ripped off by the locals. And the food at Ramada Varanasi is simply delicious!!! Not a single dish we ordered was disappointing in any way! 12/10! Recommend! This stay is totally worth the money spent

This was my first time in a Ramada hotel given limited branded hotel chain options in Varanasi, and it was a terrible experience. First of all the arrival experience lacked the warmth and politeness expected from a good 5 or 4 star hotel. Then we were assigned a room with a strong musty and mold smell. We could not even sleep properly through the night given the smell and noticed mold in several places within the room. Next morning when we asked to change the rooms we were assigned a new room in the afternoon after a wait of 2-3 hours. And again except for the lady at the reception (I don't remember her name) who was a bit polite and quick to accept our room change request, most of the reception staff I came across was rude and lacked professional behaviour. The new assigned room was relatively better but had a dusty smell in the bedsheets and linen. Had to ask to get the linen replaced to get rid of the smell. But the room wasn't the only bad experience, hotel staff also lacked in their service and response. One of the evenings, when we ordered food for in room dining, we were told food will arrive in 25 minutes, but didn't receive any update even after 45 minutes. When called back to check on the status of the order, they didn't have any record of our order and asked us to place the order again. It was a similar experience for housekeeping where many times we had to ask more than once to get any support. With respect to their breakfast, it was below average and lacked quality and options. I always start my day with a cappuccino but they only had instant coffee at the hotel. The service at the breakfast was also slow and had to wait more than expected for any orders.

I visited Varanasi and stayed at Ramada Katesar in the last weekend of December 2024 with my sister. Staff is cordial. Rooms are very well maintained. Breakfast option is great. Additionally, it also offers Cab service for Airport Transfer. We had also taken cab rental for Kaal Bhairav Temple visit and Gadolia chowk, however cabs cannot go very close to these places and it will be in near by parking area. Be prepared for lot of walking or can take local rickshaw or e-rickshaw which might be heavily priced (if not great at negotiation). Ramada Cabs (sedan etc) are great for long travel in city but not recommended if you plans to visit places close to ghats. Folks at reception were exceptional at hospitality and also offered to pack breakfast (fruits etc) early morning before leaving for assi ghat Aarti. During checkout Sumana at Reception was great and quickly settled bills. Mr.Khan from Velocity Roadways for cab was responsive and he was on call even when we had difficultly reaching assigned driver who had parked vehicle at basement where there was no or weak signal . Hope to visit again in Ramada Katesar.

We stayed at Ramada Ramnagar for 4 nights. . No welcome drinks are offered. The location is far off, out of city, inconvenient and lot of traffic jams experienced on commuting to hotel. Ghats are far off and traffic snarls take away a lot of time in commuting to and fro from the hotel. The rooms are average. In rooms, one folder is provided indicating services available. Although the folder is bulky with various info, the In-room dining menu with price list options available is only to scan. For senior citizens who may not be smartphone savvy, it is problematic.
Cable TV detailed list of Tata sky channels provided in a folder but 80% of channels are not subscribed. Why can’t the hotel make a concise list of channels available Daily message on the TV screen that the subscription will expire was viewed? Why is renewal by hotel authorities not done in advance? Daily frequent power cuts day and night were experienced during the period of stay. Although back up available, but TV has to be switched on again and Ramada hotel clipping starts screening afresh Room service was very pathetic and reminder calls necessitated to expedite on numerous occasions. Net connectivity is poor in the room. Daily Breakfast provided was of average Repeated breakfast cuisine observed., Having stayed in the Amritsar unit of the hotel, breakfast and dinner options were comparatively much inferior in the Varanasi unit. The daily buffet service is not available at dinner.

The room we stayed is just okay for two. If it is a small child it may still be manageable. Since your boys are slightly older, it is better to talk to the hotel if they have bigger room to accommodate all four.
It is a good place to be away from the hum drum of the ghats. If you are traveling in a small vehicle then the ghats are just across the bridge. Till Innova the ghats are not far. For Tempo Traveller onward one have to go around. Good place for family. They are opening up the swimming pool very soon.
There are more places to choose from in the Varanasi area.
